The 70th birthday of auntie Fely

Hello Aseanhive....

It's been awhile that I've lost my track here due to my unexpected sickness, haizt I'm getting old already lol😁. Speaking of old, today is the 70th birthday of auntie Fely. The mother of my kumareng Jeanette. As a gift, I give her a 2 trays of BIKO or in English is a sweet rice cake from the Philippines. One of the favorite of Filipinos. It's made of coconut milk, brown sugar and sticky rice.

Charannnn! Looks delicious right? But actually my younger sister cooked this one because my right hand is not in good terms. I can't do everything it's because of it. So painful. Thanks to my sister Jacque for the effort just to cook the Biko. It's just 1kg of sticky rice for 2 trays. I didn't tell mareng Jeanete for my simple surprise for her mother. She's always been generous to me since before so it's my time to do something for her mom while she's not around in the Philippines. She's living at Norway already for decades already.

Apparently auntie Fely didn't expect that I'll gonna greet her personally on her 70th birthday. Especially when I bring some Biko for her, it's her favorite also. I can see her teary teary eyes when she hugged me and say "thank you Jean." I'm so touched the way she hug me. Her family been closed to me since when I was in highschool because of mareng Jeanette. I always cherished our friendship eventhough were far apart.

Lastly I want to greet a happy happy birthday to auntie Fely and good health always. I'm always praying for her condition of being a diabetic. We're having a nice chitchat while we're eating some cake and Biko. Simple celebration but full of love. Auntie always remeniscing our old days. She cannot forget our teenage life hahaha.
