Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. It's the start of the rainy season in Thailand, The rainy season is officially here. Especially in my district, It’s been raining non-stop for two weeks. But some days it doesn't rain all day, some days it rains in the morning, some days it rains in the afternoon or evening and some days it's been raining on and off all day. After the rain, the plants will always nice grow. In my home garden too, The vegetables and fruits are growing well. And during the rainy season, it's bamboo shoot season for my family too. There are two bamboo clumps in my backyard. During the rainy season, these two bamboo clumps will produce many bamboo shoots. When my wife has free time and we're not going anywhere, she will gradually gathered these bamboo shoots to cook on other days. This time, my wife gradually gathered bamboo shoots on the sunny time before it started raining. She used just one small shovel for gathering bamboo shoots this time. Come and have fun gathering bamboo shoots in our home garden.

This time, my wife gradually gathered 6 bamboo shoots from 2 bamboo clumps. However, she was not yet able to cook with these bamboo shoots, so she preserved them by pickling them in water and salt. She peeled the bamboo shoots and sliced ​​them. Place all the bamboo shoots in the plastic bags. Then add water and salt. Leave them to ferment in the fridge for about 3-4 days until they turn sour. Then we can cook these bamboo shoots.
