Hi hi.. It's me.. @luueetang. It's a brand new week. How are you doing? One of the best things to do in life is to eat. I recently went to eat lunch with my family. So what did we eat? What does lunch look like here in Sarawak for a family gathering? Usually, we usually order the main dishes in the middle with each person having a bowl of rice. Then we would slowly grab bits of the food we want from the middle. So everyone gets to try a bit of everything.

One of the best things to do is to eat together.

Salad crispy chicken

There are some sesame on top of the salad. This dish is highly recommended if you do eat at any chinese restaurant here in Sarawak. It's like KFC but with mayonnaise and the fried chicken already cut for you with no bones.

Soup is really important in a meal.

This is a bowl of tofu soup. The texture is slightly more gooey.. due to the tapioca starch.

Crispy meat

This is the crispy meat. Crunchy.

I usually have a cup of coffee. My favourite drink. It has to be sugarless.

Vegetables and oyster omelette

In Sarawak, most vegetables that are stir fried here will have a couple of basic ingredients; garlic and egg. Usually, oil is heated, garlic sliced into small bits then stir fry the garlic to release a bit of aroma, then in goes the vegetables and egg.

Tofu

The tofu never goes wrong. I enjoy eating tofu. Most of the time, if you see me post about food, there is a high chance that tofu is going to be here. Tofu, soft and warm.
