It's dinner again. I love eating dinner, especially after a hard day's work. One of the places where I usually eat my dinner is a Japanese restaurant known as

AOKI JAPANESE RESTAURANT

This time, I was given something special from this Japanese restaurant. Read on to find out more about what I got and why.

Some of the plates of sushi we ordered

I just enjoy these small little tidbits with different flavours and tastes all combined into one.

We sat near the conveyor belt and took some sushi plates off the conveyor belt.

Ordered some main dishes.

Egg sushi or Tamago mentai

Thinly sliced egg omelet on rice and tied together with seaweed.

Chuka Idako or octopus sushi

The top part of the sushi is slices of baby octopus placed on the rice. This dish is quite delicious. chewy as the baby octopus is sliced into small bits.

Mayo sushi in tofu skin

This is one delicious dish. It is slightly sweet with mayo on the inside.

This is definitely one of my favourite sushi dishes

The middle part is mayo and salmon wraps around the sushi.

Sashimi

Ordered a plate of sashimi. The slices of salmon have to be thick enough to be fulfilling to eat. Dip it into the wasabi sauce and the taste buds light up with fire.

California roll

This is one dish to order at any sushi restaurant. Quite satisfying and it fills the stomach when your hungry.

Prawn tempura

This is my wife's favorite dish at any sushi restaurant. This dish is amazing.

This is one hard dish to master. The chef has to be good at frying the tempura.

They gave us a free matcha ice cream

This was given free to us as the owner wanted to thank us (my wife and I) for promoting their restaurant on social media. hehe..
