Wall art in Brunei

Revival of one of the oldest parts of the city. This area used to be desolated until recently. Certain parts of this area have been covered with different art murals. I used to come to this area when I was a lot younger but nowadays, this whole area has been left empty. Most new businesses now move to newer sections of the city.

The first mural is pretty amazing. If you love huge beasts, this is one mural that you would definitely love.

KING KONG VS GODZILLA

This is one of the most recognizable artworks of all time, the battle of two gigantic beasts that only exist in movies. None of these buildings are in use at the moment.

There is APU from the Simpsons hidden behind a supporting pillar.

Some roots of trees growing from the walls of the building add to the authentic beauty of the art.

The Snoopy Wall of Fame

There is this section of the wall that is dedicated to Snoopy and friends. This artwork spreads a whole section of the whole first story of the building. These artists seem quite passionate about their work.

The pillars are covered with art

The pillars are covered with artwork. Amazing to look at. Each pillar has its own design. Who would have the idea to have a tiger that is purple yet preserves its fearlessness?

Snoopy and the gang

In their car. Expression through artwork. I wanted to walk around and do a video tour of the place but it was drizzling so I could only have my car drive around this whole place. The roads here were slightly bumpy due to disrepair.

This is another area that is dedicated to Snoopy. Popular cartoons never fail. Snoopy as I remember it is what most kids look at. This mural of Snoopy is from an alternate universe. What if Snoopy was made for adults?

Rain drops on my window. It was raining. Sadly. I really wanted to just walk around and do a vlog. I guess that would better have showcased this area.

While I was here, it was drizzling. Have a happy Sunday. Time sure flies.

It's great to see these places being converted again. There is also a cafe that is hidden somewhere here.

The building seems big but how sad it wasn't being use already. Trees grows whose seeds for sure brought by some birds grows on the walls and it freely grows. Sooner or later these roots will damage the walls.

I like how the paintings was painted there from the walls to the post. I remember Godzilla, I saw some movies about it before.

Oh wow! Those wall arts are really amazing.
I haven't seen one here in our province, and I think most of street / wall arts were in the city.

Street art is becoming so popular now. It's a great way to bring tourism to neglected areas and everyone loves good art no matter its form.
