Teotihuacan in black and white / #monomad

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge ❥

It is not possible to capture the history and the energy that one feels in Teotihuacan, Mexico, it is a few photographs, however today I wanted to share these that from my point of view, in black and white, reflect a little of the mystery that surrounds this pre-Hispanic city of Mexico.

"City of the Gods" in the Nahuatl language, is the name given to what was one of the largest pre-Hispanic cities in Mesoamerica.

"When it was still night, when there was still no day, when there was still no light, the gods were summoned there in Teotihuacan" (C. Matritense)
