Can't touch this
And I still did.
I'm a little rebel like that.
I found those in the middle of lawn a coupe of weeks ago. Few short stems with those very spiky and mean looking seed pods. Quite disproportionally large comparing to the size of the plant (or what was left from it).
From what I managed to find, they belong to Datura stramonium. I have never seen the flowers blooming there. But then again - they bloom in the hottest time of the year. And I usually don't enjoy dusty and hot spots.
They are the perfect example why I love shooting all #drystuff. Pods would be my favorites with their textures and shapes. The weirder the better. They always look amazing on photos. And then the guessing game starts in case I don't know the plant.

that one is really intimidating. Thinking of the seed of new life it holds, no wonder it looks like a beast
It's all for the protection!
It is so pretty though :)
People here in Nepal and India mix this Datura with Laddu( Indian snack) or milk knowingly or unknowingly to make them drive insane during festival of Shivaratri. It makes people hallucinogenic after consumption. I always avoid them. Toxic, poisonous and bad for health too besides some benefits.
😉 I know what you are talking. Same here. But to some extent everyone knows how poisonous they are.
I read that they are poisonous. Didn't know people actually do use those properties to get high :p
I got a song for this... U can't touch this...That instantly came to my mind 😂
Hahaha yeaa fits perfectly :D
