Jasmin flowers bokeh bw 2.jpg

It's Jasmin season!
I was never fan of that fragrance. But my mum is and she has few bushes of that plant growing around the garden.
She likes it so much she even has Jasmin tea she adores.

But I do like the flowers and the look of the bush when they are all in bloom. It's like a cloud of large white petals dancing on the wind. The stems of the plant are slim and the move on the wind. Cool plant overall.

Even cooler when I can shoot it and all the white petals in the back look like bubbles :)

I used Biotar 50mm 1.4 for those. I borrowed it from my brother of course with a warning "you break it you buy me new one".
Fair enough!

Oh you'd love the garden!
There is a huge arch between two parts from some climbing plants and the Jasmin starts to lean on it.. it looks amazing!
Thank you! :))

I love jasmine. I have a white one flowering like crazy at the corner of my back deck. This is it's third summer, although I didn't expect it to survive the first winter, interestingly, our last two winters have been fairly mild, so it is still here and since it is a couple of years old now, it has just gone crazy !

I love it !

You would love my mum's one! They grow like mad! She has to trim the heavily otherwise they would take over the area.
They do look beautiful when in bloom though :)

I have a young Mimosa tree not far from it. I didn't choose the space, the tree did....LOL.... and a time or two the Jasmine has reach over to climb it too, but I had to ship it because I want the tree to live! It's been quite enjoyable watching were all it tries to go. I was hoping it would climb my porch rains and it has a little. I"m hoping for a lot !

Yup! They were quite big and green, then they suddenly wither and die! I guess some insects had bitten off the main stems cutting off its food and water supply! I also lost two flowering plants this year because of these darn insects! 🙀😭

1/800, ISO100
That's all I get from the Exif. I think I kept it on 1.4 or very close to that.
