Gigapixel's Photography Digest | Week #4

Perth CBD, Perth, WA, Australia

A black and white addition this week, I am hoping to make myself known in the Black and White community, thank you very much @ewkaw and @monochromes for facilitating this amazing community! For sure this is one of my favourite pictures! Here is a night time city-scape of the CBD of Perth. I love the contrast here and the way that the blacks and white accent each other making the city seem to come alive! I think this photo was taking at around 9pm, you can see for yourself that the city is well and truly still alive! Look at all of those little office rooms with their lights on!

Elizabeth Quay, Perth, WA, Australia

Here is the beautfiul Elizabeth Quay Harbour in the heart of the Perth city center, as you can tell this is where some of the wealtheir individuals dock their boats and perhaps head to the Ritz-Carlton hotel (see building on the left) for a spot of lunch or dinner. Perhaps they even got their boat from South Perth (right of shot) and sailed over the Hotel for dinner! C'est la vie!

Rockingham Beach, Rockingham, WA, Australia

Here is an birds-eye shot that I took on my drone and trying to encapsulate the beach from what all of those seagulls see when they're tring to scope out who's chips or icecream to have for dinner! Having the colour removed from the photo, the ocean becomes a lot more sinister. As opposed to the beautiful blue sea, it seems to become a dark and scary place. Just my take anyway, what do you think!
