The geese and destiny
The goose is an animal that has always been present in man's symbolic adventure, faithfully accompanying him through the thorny paths of pilgrimage and Knowledge.
Associated with the Mother Goddess since time immemorial, their presence was assured in the main sanctuaries of antiquity, of whose enclosures, like the terrible Can Cerberus at the gates of Hades, they were faithful and prolific guardians.
There are even cathedrals, like the one in Barcelona, in whose cloister there is a beautiful Garden of the Goose, whose number never exceeds thirteen specimens and which, according to legend, corresponds to the number of wounds suffered in his martyrdom by Saint Eulalia, Patron Saint from the city.
In addition, it is said that they are bearers of good luck, as it is reflected in that esoteric metaphor of life and destiny, which is the Game of the Goose, where they help the virtual pilgrim to continue advancing on their way, with the famous slogan of 'from goose to goose and I shoot because it's my turn'.
In fact, if we make use of our imagination, we can perceive, by observing the photograph that serves as an introduction, part of that symbolic adventure, where the waves of the water resemble the shape of the famous game board, with the geese located in their corresponding boxes, including one in the Center, representative of the Home or Garden and even another, whose outstretched wings seem to encourage the pilgrim, giving him support to continue advancing.
