Hi Five! - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

Greetings Hivers!

I've been having some minor (hopefully) health issues lately. Not related to the notorious virus infection from the last couple of years so it was pointless to seek a doctor for my pain as unfortunately, all the governmental "health money" now go for fighting Covid-19 and I didn't want to spend my own money to get only a prescription for painkillers... Time cures everything, a wise man said once. However, is that true? Lately I feel like I am missing the bigger picture while looking at the tiniest details. Or is the vise versa? Perhaps I am missing the important details while trying to see the bigger picture? I can't tell. Here are few new macro photos I took lately that kinda illustrate and touch some of those lines of thoughts.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by @monochromes, supported by @qurator, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

Thank you! Well done! I see you've got your eye trained quite well, indeed, the reverse lens macro magic and our cats waiting patiently for me, I guess they love and trust me enough :)))

It gives quite a specific effect. I don't know if a normal lens can do it.
And I still didn't try it myself...

Indeed :) I believe the effect would differ hugely from lens to lens.
To be honest, I tried only with two of my lenses, the cheap kit lens - 15-45 mm and with this one, 50 mm f/1.4. I don't dare to use my other ones as I want to avoid any dust sticking to the back of the more expensive lenses.
Have a prosperous week!
