Glamour

El glamour, término proveniente de una variación del anglicismo "grammar", usado para referirse a los sabios practicantes del ocultismo y las artes mágicas; es el encanto natural que fascina. En sus inicios, que se remontan al Siglo XVII, se empleaba para referirse a un hechizo mágico u oculto que afectaba la percepción visual de una persona, mostrando los objetos de una manera diferente a la real y presentándolos de una manera atractiva, magnificada o glorificada.

Posteriormente, en el Siglo XIX, su uso se redujo a un término que describía la belleza y la elegancia que conformaban las características de un objeto, de una manera ilusiva o romántica.

La palabra glamour se utiliza en la moda para designar las características mas atractivas en la forma de vestir de determinada época y mercado, el estilo y la belleza intrínseca, la estética, el exceso, la vanidad, la atracción sexual y diversos aspectos de la cultura popular.

Pero no solo en el mundo de la moda y alta costura se emplea, también puede ser utilizada con frecuencia para referirse a diferentes manifestaciones del arte, ubicándose principalmente en la arquitectura, la fotografía, el drama y la cinematografía.

Esta imagen fue tomada en el balcón de mi apartamento durante una corta e improvisada sesión fotográfica. Posteriormente, la modifiqué haciendo uso de la aplicación PicsArt, empleando una superposición de filtros, comenzando con un filtro del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) con la finalidad de ampliar los tonos de la imagen original, y posteriormente un filtro sencillo de Blanco & Negro.

But not only in the world of fashion and haute couture it is used, it can also be used frequently to refer to different manifestations of art, being located mainly in architecture, photography, drama and cinematography.

This image was taken on the balcony of my apartment during a short and impromptu photo shoot. Later, I modified it using the PicsArt application, using a filter overlay, starting with a filter of the HDR (High Dynamic Range) type in order to expand the tones of the original image, and later a simple Black & White filter.
