Black and white landscape, my entry to today's monomad challenge

Sigo trabajando en algunas de las fotografías que tomé el domingo en la montaña, no todo es felicidad, algunas de las fotos no me terminan por convencer y las desecho, sin embargo hay algunas otras que tomé con la intención de convertir al blanco y negro, justo como las siguientes tres fotografías.

I am still working on some of the pictures that I took on Sunday in the forest, not everything is happiness, some of the pictures don't convince me and I discard them, however there are some others that I took with the intention of converting to black and white, just like the following three pictures.

Esta fotografía me gustó mucho por diferentes razones, y no digo que sea perfecta puesto que la perfección es diferente en cada una de las personas que vean la imagen, en mi caso me gustó por la combinación de los árboles con el paisaje de la ciudad al fondo de la imagen, además de que alcancé a capturar las diferentes montañas que rodean la ciudad, claro que como no eran el motivo principal de la imagen están en un segundo plano ya que el punto de interés son la silueta de los árboles.

I liked this photograph for different reasons, and I don't say that it is perfect since perfection is different in each of the people who see the image, in my case I liked the combination of the trees with the landscape of the city in the background of the image, plus I managed to capture the different mountains that surround the city, of course as they were not the main reason for the image they are in the background since the point of interest are the silhouette of the trees.

De tener un lente macro para la Canon M50 ese musgo se hubiera visto mucho mejor, también pude haber llevado la Canon T6 y los tubos de extensión macro, pero ya llevaba mucho peso en la mochila y no quise añadir más, en realidad esta es la única fotografía que me hubiera gustado sacar en macro, así que cargar todo el peso adicional o comprar un lente para la M50 que cuesta 300 dólares si lo compro en Estados Unidos, o 400 dólares si lo compro en México, no creo que sea una buena inversión ya que de momento no tengo planeado hacer muchas fotografías macro, de hecho pienso hacer más de paisaje.

If I had a macro lens for the Canon M50 that moss would have looked much better, I could have also taken the Canon T6 and the macro extension tubes, but I was already carrying a lot of weight in my backpack and I didn't want to add more, actually this is the only photograph I would have liked to take in macro, so carrying all the extra weight or buying a lens for the M50 that costs 300 dollars if I buy it in the US, or 400 dollars if I buy it in Mexico, I don't think it is a good investment since at this time I am not planning to take many macro photographs, in fact I plan to do more landscape.

No tengo idea del porqué hay tantos árboles muertos en el bosque, pero forman parte del paisaje y no quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de hacer esta fotografía, quizás la próxima vez que vaya consiga una mejor composición porque en verdad estaba muy cansado y creo que mi creatividad por momentos me abandonaba jaja.

I have no idea why there are so many dead trees in the forest, but they are part of the landscape and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to take this picture, maybe the next time I go I will get a better composition because I was really tired and I think my creativity was leaving me for a while haha.
