Це є мій запис для мономад у монохромі.
Вчора в мене був насичений день. Я повинна була відвідати кілька місць, які знаходилися в різних частинах міста. А місто стояло у заторах, і я вирішила, що швидше буде пішки долати ці дистанції. Чесно, це було дуже втомливо, але я змогла побачити красу будинків на вулицях, які часто проїзджала на автомобілі. І сьогодні хочу вам їх представити у чорно-білому фільтрі.

This is my entry for #monomads challenge by #monochrome.
Yesterday I had a busy day. I had to visit several places that were in different parts of the city. And the city was congested, and I decided that it would be faster to walk these distances. Honestly, it was very tiring, but I could see the beauty of the houses on the streets, which I often drove. And today I want to present them to you in black and white filter.

На одній з вулиць я побачила ось такі обличчя над порталами і старовинні брами. Два сусідні між собою будинки мали такі прикраси. Це в 19столітті було дуже популярним. І я радію, що змогла розгледіти це на своєму шляху.
Обличчя жінки було надзвичайно милим і спокійним. А поряд над порталом жахлива емоція чоловіка, наче маска. Я вдивлялася і розуміла, який величезний контраст між цими двома маскаронами.

On one of the streets I saw such faces above the portals and ancient gates. Two neighboring houses had such decorations. It was very popular in the 19th century. And I'm glad I was able to see it on my way.
The woman's face was extremely sweet and calm. And next to the portal is a terrible emotion of a man, like a mask. I stared and realized what a huge contrast between these two faces.

Далі, я побачила будинок з атлантами. І на мій подив атланти зображенні у скульптурі фасоду були різними. Одна фігура атланта зображувала юного хлопця, а інша старшого чоловіка з бородою. Наче минуле і теперішнє, наче молодість і старість, наче наївність і глибокий досвід.

Next, I saw a house with atlantes. And to my surprise Atlanta images in the sculpture of the facade were different. One figure of Atlanta depicted a young man, and the other an older man with a beard. Like the past and the present, like youth and old age, like naivety and deep experience.

Химери на будинках Львова дуже часто зустрічаються.
Chimeras are very common in the houses of Lviv.

Будинок побудований в кінці 19 століття в стилі пізнього необароко
The house was built in the late 19th century in the late Neo-Baroque style.

А в цьому будинку проживали заможні чоловіки. Власник будинку граф Стефан Коморовський.
Інший був бізнесменом і власником нафтової свердловини у Бориславі Львівської області - Станіслав Богуш.
Зараз тут знаходиться регіональне відділення банку.

And in this house lived wealthy men. One of them was a businessman and owner of an oil well in Boryslav, Lviv region, Stanislav Bogush. And the owner of the house is Count Stefan Komorowski.
Now here is the regional branch of the bank.

І звичайно леви. Вони охоронці міста, окраса міста. Левів часто можна побачити на будівлях мого міста. Їх зображують грізними з відкритими пащами, наче вони готові до атаки.

And of course lions. They are the guards of the city, the decoration of the city. Lions can often be seen on the buildings of my city. They are often depicted as formidable with open mouths, as if they were ready to attack.
