Hail to the Hive!

Just 2 mins walk from where we have Badger the Narrowboat moored, and on the way to stock up on supplies, I had to walk under this railway bridge.

It turned out to be two bridges right next to each other when I inspected a little more closely.

This for me is one of the things I love about the blockchain. It kind of inspires me to look at things differently and from different perspectives now, even when doing a mundane walk from the boat to the supermarket. Spotting things to photograph. Capturing images to write about.

I actually put the shopping bags down and started snapping away, much to the bewilderment of cars and pedestrians passing by.

“What on earth is he taking photos of?” They must be thinking.

But with the glistening brick road, ironwork and lighting I knew what I wanted to het out of these captures and I do love my B&W photography so any excuse. The industrial always appeals to me.

Made a simple walk to the shops that bit more enjoyable, that bit more rewarding and that bit more creative.
