HAil to the Hive!

Today I had a visit from my best mate @xwidep and he brought along with him the very lovely 'Karmann'

And isn't she a Beauty ?

This quite stunning 1972 VW Karmann Ghia is a real head turner and makes her more modern counterparts seem rather charmless and dull in comparison. The modern cars seem to merge into the same shape in a fuel efficient yawn fest. It's an over used cliché but it really is oh so true, they don't make em like they used to.

From every angle she exudes style and personality and screams at your subconscious

" Come on ! You KNOW you WANT ME! "

I know @xwidep is my best mate and all but when I ask if he's driving Karmann when he arrives and he says "No" I am always a little disappointed. It's such a joy to see her and loads of fun being taken for a ride. As she is also left hand drive I secretly love the fact people think she's mine when I get out the passenger side, giving my door keys a jingle to add to the deception he he.

I hope it's not too long before I see Karmann again....oh and @xwidep as well 😄
