Sport Photography with a nifty fifty - MY Monomad Challenge Entry

You must think I'm crazy after reading that title, haha. Well, in my defense I don't have a sports photography lens. It also turns out you need a shit ton of money to get those lenses.

like, WTH. The lad looks like he's holding a bazooka and he is ready to fire away, haha Sports photography is an expensive craft, and I don't have such gears yet, so I thought I'd use my new tool. Didn't go so bad.

I did shoot with a wide aperture, as far as f/1.8 but I think I paid the price for that decision with the intended subject just about out of focus. Still, I loved the whole action and how the dust got raised.

I realize I didn't get any decent pictures, well I did. I would share the others soon; so I decided to go behind the goal post and take a portrait of the goalie. He was having a stretch, xd.

That last photo is the best to me...

If you have a APSC sensor then you are using a 75mm "zoom" lens... :)

Thanks for share and have a great week!

Wow, great job. High quality and impressive photos 👌 I was thinking about the colors, because it remembered me the old time in black and white. Any way you're the artist and we enjoy whatever you see. Thanks a lot ☺️👏
