The Famous Cathedral

I have been talking about how I haven't been out so much, how I haven't even had a photo session booked for so long, it finally happened. A friend of mine gave me a call and told me that his firm needed a photographer that would take photos of them for their website. I was excited, I got booked, and yesterday I went on to shoot. It was a very stressful day, and I had a severe headache when I got home at the end of the day. I was happy anyway.

It is a famous church in the suburb of Lagos, Nigeria. Almost every photographer I know, have taken a photo of the church. It is this beautifully structured house of worship with a massive clock to the left. I couldn't take a photo properly as I was on the move. I tilted my camera to my waist, and I took the shot. I took the picture with my smartphone.

Footprint of colonial era in Africa, always interesting to read more about the buildings history.

Excellent photography using monochrome to show the detail @stevenson7 wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Thank you Joan.

Even though they don't come with fun memories its great to look back on and learn from them. The first stone was laid by the then prince of wales and it was established in 1869. Its the oldest Anglican church in Nigeria.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, 😅 I don't get that alot this days.

Do enjoy the weekend.
