Colle del Fornetto (North Italy)
Friday night I decided I'd like to walk the day after, on Saturday.
I asked to my wife and Bulla if they agreed and they were excited!
It had snowed during the week but the sun was in the sky and the temperature was warm.
Ah, Bulla is our wonderful dog that you can see ont the top.
Our destination was Colle del Fornetto a path over Giaveno.
Giaveno is a little village in Torino placed on the North of Italy and famous by the mushrooms.
When we arrived in Giaveno we bought bread and cheese and then we went in a park in order to leave the car and start our trip.
Air was calm. It was cold but sunny so walking was pretty nice.
All over there was the snow but the path was pretty and we walked without any difficulties.
We started at 800meters and we arrived at 1,300meters when we saw snow also on the path but we continued walking and speaking and we were so happy for the sun.
I simpy love little houses in this places.
They are so cute. They have stove inside and there is always a deposit of wood next to the house.
If there is someone in the house, the camignolo smokes and we imagine people inside with a cup of tea playing cards.
In this location, houses are built by stones and also roofs are by stones. They're pretty and I'd like to buy one of them when I'll be retired.
Also Bulla was very happy.
She loves snow and she loves running on it. If we meet someone with other dogs, she likes playing with them because snow gives her the right grip to run better and better.
When we arrived on the top of the hill, we had lunch.
It was 1pm and we were at 1,700meters. The sun was on the sky but it was really cold so we didn't stay there too much time.
We drunk wine and we had sandwiches.
Obviously also Bulla had a part of sandwich :-)
After 20 minutes, we stand up and we went again on the path to return at home.
We arrived to the car at 4pm and it was a great day.
We love walking all three together.
Bulla is a great dog and she only wants staying with us.
We love her and we're planning the next trip together!

It seems like you had a fantastic hike with your wife and Bulla! That walk up Colle del Fornetto must have been beautiful, especially with the snow and sunshine. I can tell how much you love those little stone houses – they do sound charming. And Bulla playing in the snow, that's just adorable! Fresh air, exercise, and good company a perfect day out in nature
