Readers of my Hive blog know perfectly well my passion for blockchain-based games and in particular Hive-based games.
In fact I am an active player on 13 blockchain games and among these 12 are Hive Games.
The only non-Hive-based game I play is Farming Tales.

I started playing and investing on Farming Tales in December 2021 and a month later Cartel asked me to become an operator and manage his farm and investment on Farming Tales as well and I accepted.

So there are two farms that I manage on Farming Tales and today I am publishing my twenty-eighth Financial Report of Cartel's investment on Farming Tales.

If you are already know Farming Tales you can go on to the next paragraph otherwise you can read the following short introduction about Farming Tales game in which I have included links to useful guides that have been posted on Hive.

What is Farming Tales?

(Brief Introduction)

Farming Tales is an NFT-based farming simulator built and developed on the WAX blockchain.

I have not tried all existing blockchain-based farming games, but among those I have tried Farming Tales is definitely the most impressive farming game from a development perspective because:

• it has beautiful graphics and uses a 3D graphics engine
• it has three different game modes to choose from:
  • 1. New Waxchester Solo Mode
  • 2. ** New Waxchester Multiplayer Mode
  • 3. ** Farmer Mode

To start playing Farming Tales you need to create a Wax Wallet.
You can create it in two ways (Wax Cloud Wallet or Anchor Wallet) by following the steps outlined in the following guide: Tutorial: How to Create a Wax Wallet

To play the multiplayer mode you must register using an e-mail.

Farming Tales although not a Hive-based game uses Hive to publish updates related to the game (account: @farmingtales) and has organized several contests to incentivize players to sign up on Hive and post content related to the game.

Cartel Investment Update: Financial Report #28

Cartel (@oneup-cartel) is a project born and built on the Hive blockchain.
Cartel is a project focused primarily on blockchain-based games but is also:

• a Meta Gaming Guild
• a Meta Curation
• a Meta Dividend Token
• a Swap Service

On Cartel I am a investor because I purchased 62.37 CARTEL (second-level token of the Hive blockchain).

On Cartel I am also a operator because I manage Cartel's investment on Farming Tales.
Cartel's investment on Farming Tales began on January 29, 2022 and today March 30, 2023, it has been 425 days, just over a year and two months.

OneUp Cartel invested in the Farming Tales project in two successive times:

• First investment: 500 HBD (January 29, 2022)
• Second investment: 250 WAX (March 1, 2022)

From the conversion of HBD tokens to WAX tokens, I obtained 1583 WAX tokens, which when added to the second investment of 250 WAX produced a total of 1833 WAX tokens.

1833 WAX tokens is therefore the total amount of tokens I had available to invest in Farming Tales.

I used the 1833 WAX tokens in the following ways:

• Purchase of NFT: 1585.59 WAX
• Purchase of WAX Resources (CPU,RAM,NET): 51.54 WAX
• Purchase of 14970 SEST tokens: 195.00 WAX
• Cost of trading on Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX

VALUE ASSETS + REWARDS

The value of the NFT collection of the Cartel project

Cartel's wallet on WAX is 1carteltales and according to information from the Inventory section of https://wax.atomichub.io/ the total value of Cartel's NFTs is 2660 WAX.

The value of CBIT and SEST (Staked + Liquids)

AtomicHub's calculation only considers the value of NFTs, and for this reason I created a table to calculate the total value in WAX and in dollars of the tokens accumulated so far by Cartel.

The amount of CBITs increased from the previous report by + 524.24 CBITs (1294,2451-770) due to the staking activity of SEST tokens, which allows to earn +8 CBITs per day.
The total dollar value of tokens (CBIT+SEST) of Cartel is $63.05.

Cartel Wallet has 2615 WAX liquids.

Profit and ROI Calculation

I will now calculate four financial results:

• Profit and ROI of Cartel's investment considering the value in WAX tokens
• Profit and ROI of Cartel's investment considering the value in dollars.

If I consider the value in WAX of the initial investment and the value in WAX today, the financial results are very positive:

• Profit: +4556.31 WAX
• ROI: +248.57%

If I consider the dollar value of the initial investment at the time it was converted into WAX tokens and the current dollar value of Cartel's assets the financial results are negative:

• Profit: -$123.52
• ROI: -22.12%

Why is there this difference between the financial results I showed you?

The reason is simple: the decrease in value of the WAX token compared to when Cartel invested in Farming Tales.

When Cartel invested in Farming Tales the WAX token had a value of 0.2853$ while today a WAX token has a value of 0.068052$

The WAX token is one of the tokens that has been most negatively affected by the Bear Market even though it has shown small signs of recovery in the past two months!

My investment plan on Farming Tales (Update)

My main goal on Farming Tales has not changed from my previous report:
Reach the break-even point to turn Farming Tales from a play to earn game to a free to play game

I will have achieved this goal when I have returned Cartel the value of the initial investment in dollars: 558.33$.

Therefore I will continue to increase the amount of liquid WAX in Cartel's wallet until that amount has reached this value.

When I published my previous report (January 19, 2023) there were 1809 WAX in Cartel's wallet, today March 30, 2023 there are 2615 WAX.
In 70 days I have increased the amount of liquid WAX by +806 WAX with a daily increase of +11.51 WAX per day.

I will try to increase this daily increment.

The possible investment strategies on Farming Tales have definitely increased with the implementation of the New Waxchester metaverse, and consequently the possible fun has also increased...

I lettori del mio Hive blog conoscono perfettamente la mia passione per i giochi basati su blockchain e in particolare per i giochi Hive-based.

Cos'è Farming Tales?

(Breve Introduzione)

Farming Tales è un simulatore di farming basato su NFT costruito e sviluppato sulla blockchain WAX.

Non ho provato tutti i giochi di Farming basati su blockchain esistenti ma tra quelli che ho provato Farming Tales è sicuramente il gioco di farming più imponente dal punto di vista dello sviluppo perchè:

• ha una bella grafica e utilizza un motore grafico 3D
• ha tre modalità di gioco differenti tra cui scegliere:
  • 1. New Waxchester Solo Mode
  • 2. New Waxchester Multiplayer Mode
  • 3. Farmer Mode

Per iniziare a giocare a Farming Tales devi creare un Wax Wallet.

Per giocare alla modalità multiplayer devi registrarti utilizzando una e-mail.

Su Cartel sono un investitore perchè ho acquistato 62.37 CARTEL (token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive).

Su Cartel sono un anche un operatore perchè gestisco l'investimento di Cartel su Farming Tales.
L'investimento di Cartel su Farming Tales è iniziato il 29 gennaio 2022 e oggi 30 marzo 2023 sono passati 425 giorni, poco più di un anno e due mesi.

OneUp Cartel ha investito nel progetto di Farming Tales in due momenti successivi:

• Primo investimento: 500 HBD (29 gennaio 2022)
• Secondo investimento: 250 WAX (1 marzo 2022)

Dalla conversione dei token HBD in token WAX ho ottenuto 1583 token WAX che sommati al secondo investimento di 250 WAX hanno prodotto un totale di 1833 token WAX da investire (investimento totale iniziale).

Il valore della collezione di NFT del progetto Cartel

Il wallet di Cartel su WAX è 1carteltales e in base alle informazioni della sezione Inventory di https://wax.atomichub.io/ il valore totale degli NFTs di Cartel è di 2660 WAX.

Il valore dei token CBIT e SEST (Staked + Liquids)

Il calcolo di AtomicHub considera solo il valore degli NFTs e per questo motivo ho creato una tabella per calcolare il valore totale in WAX e in dollari dei token accumulati fino ad ora da Cartel.

Il quantitativo di CBIT è aumentato rispetto al report precedente di + 524.24 CBIT (1294.2451-770) grazie all'attività di staking dei token SEST che permette di guadagnare +8 CBIT al giorno.
Il valore totale in dollari dei tokens (CBIT+SEST) di Cartel è di 63.05$.

Ora calcolerò quattro risultati finanziari:

• Profit e ROI dell'investimento di Cartel considerando il valore in WAX token

Se considero il valore in WAX dell'investimento iniziale e il valore in WAX attuale i risultati finanziari sono molto positivi:

• Profit: +4556.31 WAX
• ROI: +248.57%

Se considero il valore in dollari dell'investimento iniziale nel momento in cui è stato convertito in token WAX e il valore in dollari attuale degli assets di Cartel i risultati finanziari sono negativi:

• Profit: -123.52 $
• ROI: -22.12%

Perchè questa differenza tra i risultati finanziari che ti ho mostrato?

Il motivo è semplice: la diminuzione di valore del token WAX rispetto al momento in cui Cartel ha investito in Farming Tales.

Quando Cartel ha investito su Farming Tales il token WAX aveva un valore di 0.2853$ mentre oggi un token WAX ha un valore di 0.068052$

Il token WAX è uno dei token che ha subito maggiormente gli effetti negativi del Bear Market anche se negli ultimi due mesi ha mostrato piccoli segnali di ripresa!

Il mio piano di investimento su Farming Tales (Update)

Il mio obiettivo principale su Farming Tales non è cambiato rispetto al mio report precedente:
Raggiungere il punto di pareggio per trasformare Farming Tales da un gioco play to earn in un gioco free to play

Avrò raggiunto questo obiettivo quando avrò restituito a Cartel il valore dell'investimento iniziale in dollari: 558.33$.

Per questo motivo continuerò ad aumentare il quantitativo di WAX liquidi nel wallet di Cartel fino a quando tale quantitativo avrà raggiunto questo valore.

Quando ho pubblicato il mio precedente report (19 gennaio 2023) nel wallet di Cartel c'erano 1809 WAX, oggi 30 marzo 2023 ci sono 2615 WAX.
In 70 giorni ho incrementato il quantitativo di WAX liquidi di +806 WAX con un incremento giornaliero di +11.51 WAX al giorno.

Cercherò di aumentare questo incremento giornaliero.

Le strategie di investimento possibili su Farming Tales sono decisamente aumentate con l'implementazione del metaverso New Waxchester e di conseguenza è aumentato anche il possibile divertimento...
