Netflix among a thousand other things is trying to offer a lot of local content in the Italian catalogue of the streaming platform. A very clear will for 2 years now, since Netflix had invested in many countries, including ours, with original products as in the case of Suburra.

To enrich the proposal there were many old and new Italian titles able to satisfy the Italian audience.

One of the most recently proposed films is a film by Milani entitled "Mamma o Papà?", which sees the Cortellesi - Albanese couple in splendid form in a film that anticipates the collaboration that will take place a few months later between the 2 actors and the director himself for a film known to all and winner of numerous awards: "Come un gatto in tangenziale".

Mamma or Papà? as the title suggests, tells us about a very difficult choice that the 3 children of the Albanian couple - Cortellesi, about to divorce, will have to face.

The question is misleading because in the film the perspective on the most hateful question for each child is overturned.

In this case, in fact, neither of the 2 parents would like to be the children's favourite, as they are both about to leave for many months for work experiences they had always dreamed of.
From here, and from a long-awaited but badly-digested betrayal, a fight starts without quarter and without saving low blows between mom and dad. The goal is to be as hateful and unreliable as possible in the eyes of the children in order to escape from parental commitments and exclusive custody.

There will be hilarious gags, grotesque atmospheres and a great chemistry between the 2 protagonists that will make the movie fun and enjoyable, with some good ideas and a surprise ending even if not of great impact.

Enjoyable.

This adjective, positive without doubt, often ends up rhyming with mediocrity.

An enjoyable film that leaves the viewer highly entertained but leaves him without big memories and messages forfeited ends up not being a great movie.

Milani's film is part of this overcrowded furrow of Italian cinema, with many pleasant but never really convincing and certainly not unforgettable products.

Netflix fra le mille altre cose sta provando ad offrire molti contenuti nostrani nel catalogo italiano della piattaforma di streaming. Una volontà chiarissima oramai da 2 anni, da quando Netflix aveva investito su tanti paesi, compreso il nostro, con prodotti originali come nel caso di Suburra.

Ad arricchire la proposta ci sono stati numerosi titoli italiani vecchi e nuovi in grado di soddisfare la platea tricolore.

Uno dei film più proposti recentemente è un film di Milani intitolato "Mamma o Papà?", che vede la coppia Cortellesi - Albanese in splendida forma in un film che anticipa la collaborazione che avverrà di li a qualche mese fra i 2 attori e lo stesso regista per un film noto a tutti e vincitore di numerosi premi: "Come un gatto in tangenziale".

Mamma o Papà? come riconducibile dal titolo ci racconta di una scelta molto difficile che i 3 figli della coppia Albanese - Cortellesi, in procinto di divorziare, dovranno affrontare.

La domanda è fuorviante in quanto nel film la prospettiva sulla domanda più odiosa per ogni bambino è ribaltata.

In questo caso, infatti, nessuno dei 2 genitori vorrebbe essere il preferito dai figli, essendo entrambi in procinto di partire per molti mesi per esperienze lavorative che avevano sempre sognato.
Da qui, e da un tradimento atteso ma maldigerito, parte una lotta senza quartiere e senza risparmio di colpi bassi fra mamma e papà. L'obiettivo è quello di risultare il più possibile odiosi e inaffidabili agli occhi dei figli in modo da sottrarsi agli impegni genitoriali ed all'affido esclusivo.

Ci saranno gag esilaranti, atmosfere grottesche ed una grande chimica fra i 2 protagonisti che renderanno il film divertente e piacevole, con qualche buono spunto ed un finale a sorpresa anche se non di grandissimo impatto.

Godibile.

Questo aggettivo, positivo senza dubbio, spesso finisce per far rima con mediocrità.

Un film godibile che lascia lo spettatore vivamente intrattenuto ma lo lascia senza grossi ricordi e messaggi incamerati finisce per non essere un gran film.

Il film di Milani si inserisce in questo solco superaffollato del cinema italiano, con tanti prodotti piacevoli ma mai davvero convincenti e sicuramente non indimenticabili.
