Hello Everyone, Welcome to my blog where I write about my photography journey and share some photos with the community to enjoy.

My journey as a photographer has evolved over the years. When I look back to my previous photos, I see a tremendous gap in growth between what is now and what used to be. The growth can certainly be attributed to the new gadgets and gears that I have recently bought. But that alone is not the total reason for the better pictures you see now. Experience they say is the best teacher.

I have come to a realisation of this truth as my photography skills increase with each flicker of a capture I make. The more I practise, experiment and push myself to try out new skills the more I hone my skills. One key aspect I have gained tremendous experience from is from learning from both my successes and failures. The photoshoot you see today isn't my best capture. It is actually one of my lows and I learnt a great deal from it.

My lightning was off with this very shot. A rule of thumb in photography is to get your shot correct in the camera before you try any manipulation after the shoot. This I learnt from a senior colleague. If you look at the pictures carefully, you will see that the lighting is a bit off with the shadow's direction. Nevertheless, these are standard shots. I'm not here only to critique the pictures.

I am hoping to show much more creative photos in the coming weeks to display my array of shots to understand a few things. I always say, your pictures are as nice as your subject. Overdoing anything is just flattery. I hope you enjoyed these shots.
