A lovely meetup with fellow Hiveians

Introduction

Good morning to you all hive lovers. It is a Monday morning and a brand new week. A lot of goals has been set and achieving it is in our hands. I have find out that the only person who does not want us to achieve our goals is we ourselves. In other way the world is in our hands.

Meet up with fellow Hiveians could be a positive way to always keep yourself alive. Am alive with with fellow Hiveians. We set out every Saturday by 4:pm in my city Uyo Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria to come together to learn and share our Challenges on Hive together. Those with beautiful testimonies do share with us too. It was a great meetup. Some points we considered were as follows.

• Why we should power up our hive every 1st day of the month to join HPUD.
• How to make post using @Dbuzzz frontend and what to post.
• How to earn different token on hive.
• How to buy token using #HiveEngine
• What is esency point, boost post and promote post.
• What is quality post?
• Should we write any topic in ocd Community?

What we discussed was much. From the above list, you will know that the team is made up of newbies. We are ready now to share with others what we have learned. I started by sharing with them how to find some updates in the community.

For example, i told them that i always read @dbuzz update, curators update, Community update, @hivehealthupdate and others. Also to read other links of previous post or post of winners of contest, all this put together will help them to learn fast on hive. Another point is power up.

Why we should power up.

I told them that, on hive they have power up day and few days before the day, an announcement will be made for everyone to be ready.read about the new update here. So power up means to lock up our hive for a long period of time. It helps one gain influence. I explained that, without hive power, friends on hive will not be able to empower others through vote. So power up has a lot of benefits. It is only when you power up that you can give delegation to witness, communities, individual to surport there is also a batch that is giving to those who are powering up regularly at least 10hive. As we approach December 1st many already know that is power up day. I hope to participate and many of them too.

How to earn different token on hive.

@chichieze helped us to understand that. There are many ways to earn token on hive. By posting, commenting, engagement, participating in a contest, being part of engagement link and also to buy the tokens. Example was giving on Leofinace token, you can buy and power it up on their pud. she encouraged us to focus on learning, we should know that hive is a social media platform not get rich quick but understanding how it works will help us benefit from hive. We were motivated to set aside some money to buy token, daily weekly or monthly, that is a way to succeed and support Hive blockchain.

Topics to write on ocd Community.

In as much as we can write there, we should read the rules of the community. We can only write a post that do not belong to any Community in ocd. For example, the post am making now is about hive meetup. Since there is a community for hive meetups, seminar, workshop, i should write it in that Community. So is our obligation to read Community Introduction post or guide to know exactly what to write.

Another thing is what is esency point. I explained that esency point is giving to you by posting , commenting, reblogging, voting. It is not that you are buying vote, not at all, it is to encourage engagement on hive blockchain. Some Community also use it to appreciate winners of their contest. To me I see it as a way to appreciating hardworking hivers. It doesn't come to lazy ones but to active ones.

The most important thing is to make quality post free from plagiarism, engagement is the key, follow others. Authors that you love their post and they are active, you can now add them to your favorite so that you will get notification each time they make a post. All this is available on esency.

At the end we took beautiful pictures because we were refreshed mentally and physically. I really love attending #hive meetups especially now that I don't know much about hive. Even as am learning, it is important to share it with others. Next week Saturday again with God's help, i will attend another meetup..

In summary, I will encourage everyone to make himself or herself available to read and learn. Attend hive meetup if there is an arrangement for it in your city. Organize hive workshop. All this will bring in more people to hive.
