Two Types of People, Today

Just like insects, there are humans who are pests for some others, but there are also types of humans who share benefits from one another.

Sama seperti serangga, manusia ada yang menjadi hama bagi sebagian yang lain, namun ada juga tipe manusia yang saling berbagi manfaat antara satu sama lain.

For the first type, they have a mental tendency to hurt others. They do not care about the fate of people, for them the most important thing is their own gain, even if it has to step on others.

Untuk tipe yang pertama, mereka memiliki mental yang cendrung menyakiti orang lain. Mereka tidak peduli dengan nasib orang-orang, bagi mereka yang paling penting adalah keuntungan untuk dirinya sendiri, walaupun itu harus dengan menginjak orang lain.

In this time of the pandemic, we can see people with that type. They do not even have the shame to steal some of the state money that should be used for handling Covid-19, which is usually done by people who work in the government.

Di masa pandemi ini, kita bisa melihat orang-orang dengan tipe seperti itu. Mereka bahkan tidak memiliki rasa malu untuk mencuri sebagian uang negara yang seharusnya dipergunakan untuk penanganan covid-19, biasa itu dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang bekerja di pemerintahan.

A pest mentality is also owned by some 'naughty' business people who hoard goods for fraudulent purposes, when these goods are scarce in the market, they will sell them at a higher price.

Mental hama juga dimiliki oleh sebagian pelaku bisnis 'nakal' yang menimbun barang dengan tujuan curang, ketika barang-barang tersebut mengalami kelangkaan di pasaran, mereka akan menjualnya dengan harga yang lebih tinggi.

As for the second type, are those who behave the same as bees. Bees, as we know, they love to suck the nectar of flowers. But he didn't harm the plants they had benefited from. Instead, they provide feedback, by sucking the nectar of flowers, they have helped the pollination process in flowers which will then develop into fruits.

Sedangkan untuk tipe yang kedua, adalah mereka yang berperilaku sama seperti lebah. Lebah, seperti yang kita tahu, dia suka menyedot nektar bunga. Tetapi dia tidak menyakiti tanaman yang telah mereka ambil manfaatnya. Mereka justru memberikan umpan balik, dengan menyedot nektar bunga, mereka telah membantu proses penyerbukan pada bunga yang kemudian akan berkembang menjadi buah.

We also know that bees themselves provide many benefits to humans. The honey and propolis they produce provide many health benefits.

Kita juga tahu lebah sendiri memberikan banyak menfaat bagi manusia. Madu dan propolis yang mereka hasilkan memberikan banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan.

Now the question is, where do we stand? Are we a human with a pest mentality, or a human with a bee mentality?

Sekarang pertanyaannya, dimanakah posisi kita berdiri? Apakah kita termasuk manusia bermental hama, atau manusia yang bermental lebah?
