A small artwork that was entrusted to me in this month in which the rains begin to wet the earth for months, sun-washed. Lilies, field flowers and orchids sprout among the wet branches.
A turpial called by insects unleashed by moisture perches on a branch hoping to catch its desired food.
Raindrops wet the branches and drip like diamonds on the petals of the delicate orchid before falling to the ground.
The song of the turpial crosses the winds and reaches the ears of those who want to hear its sweet song.

See a little of the process of this illustration done in watercolors.
