An English Landscape Digitally Oil Paint Filtered
I think it's time for another of my Nature themed banners! This time I would like to share a landscape background of a stream meandering through a lush green forest. Although it may look like a photograph, it is actually a 3D rendered Wallpaper from a long time ago. Originally created in early versions of Bryce & Photoshop, the image depicts late Spring / Early Summer.
There is ivy climbing the trees, and beautiful reflections on the stream surface. I have today brightened the overall composition with a few filters, specifically an "oil paint" filter in my PhotoPea Software. I then added the Hive Logo simply to promote the Hive Platform & PeakD when I tweet this article later on tonight. The Hive Logo has (50% Opacity) so that it blends with the Nature background more subtlety.
I have created 3 different Banner versions, to hopefully appeal to more of the Art Community here on Hive.
- Version 1. Zinc Colour Filtered & Oil Painted.
- Version 2. Monochrome ~ Digitally Oil Painted.
- Version 3. Sepia Colour Filtered.
I really like using Sepia, as it gives an overall impression of being painted hundreds of years ago! IMO 😀
- Now for a few "Screen Shots" of the process...
Below is the Digital Image that I started with earlier today, as you can see it is so much darker, and less vibrant.

So that's it for my Art Blog Today, I hope you enjoyed...
