Water and people

Why do people reach for water? We want to relax by the sea, on the shore of a lake or river. We seek water and rejoice when we find it.

A human embryo has gills at some stage of its growth. Maybe we didn’t come from monkeys, as Mr. Darwin claims. But what if our ancestors were the inhabitants of the ocean?

am also drawn to water. Especially in the spring. Until the leaves have blossomed and everything around has bloomed, we have very few colors. Only the blue of heaven, the gold of the sun and the greenery of conifers. But in water everything is perceived differently.

Почему люди тянутся к воде? Нам хочется отдыхать у моря, на берегу озера или реки. Мы ищем воду и радуемся, когда её находим.

Меня тоже тянет к воде. Особенно весной. Пока не распустились листья и не зацвело всё вокруг, мы имеем очень мало красок. Только синева небес, золото солнца и зелень хвойных деревьев. Но у воды всё воспринимается иначе.

Water reflects the blue of the sky, plays with the sun's rays. It constantly moves . From its surface, ions enter the air. They saturate the air and make it especially useful.

Вода отражает синеву неба, играет солнечными лучами. Она постоянно движется. С её поверхности в воздух попадают ионы. Они насыщают воздух и делают его особенно полезным.

Trees pull their branches towards water and sunlight. Now there are no leaves and the geometry of the trees is clearly visible.

I walk along a narrow cape, along a spit that crashes into the Gulf of Finland. There are a lot of stones, a little sand and a dense shrub. But now the bush is transparent.

Я иду по узкому мысу, по косе, которая врезается в Финский залив. Здесь много камней, мало песка и густой кустарник. Но сейчас кустарник прозрачен.

I got lucky with the weather. Almost no wind and the sun shines brightly. For photo shooting, this is not the best option, but there is light, although it is tough.
