Son muchas las mujeres que admiramos en la vida y nos hacen sentir por ellas una mezcla de atracción y devoción, que reconocemos todas sus cualidades que podemos conseguir, incluso para magnificarla. Son muchos de ellos que admiro por su trabajo, su perseverancia, su optimismo, su fama, su resistencia, su belleza, su forma de ver la vida, su lucha, su amor por los demás, entre otros. En esta oportunidad hablaré de mi madre, esa mujer que lo ha dado todo por mí y mi familia.

There are many women that we admire in life and make us feel for them a mixture of attraction and devotion, that we recognize all their qualities that we can get, even to magnify it. There are many of them that I admire for their work, their perseverance, their optimism, their fame, their resistance, their beauty, their way of seeing life, their struggle, their love for others, among others. In this opportunity I will talk about my mother, that woman who has given everything for me and my family.

Mi madre es una mujer a la que siempre he admirado. Esta señora se llama Ana Romelia Hurtado, tiene 80 años, nació en Cumaná el 31 de marzo de 1940, he admirado a mi madre por ser una mujer luchadora, mi madre quedó huérfana muy joven de padre y madre, cuando tenía con solo 2 años murió su padre y cuando ella tenía 11 años murió su madre, su hermano también murió cuando solo tenía 2 años, ella se quedó viviendo con su abuela que tenía 80 años y tuvo que trabajar desde que tenía 13 años para poder ayudar, ya que su abuela era muy mayor, cuando murió su abuela ella se quedó viviendo con un tío, ese tío en ese momento vivía con una señora y recibía a mi madre como si fuera su madre, una señora muy simpática , mi madre a los 17 años conoció a mi padre en una fiesta, pero él estaba casado con otra señora,

My mother is a woman that I have always admired. Luego mi mamá se vio obligada a trabajar y consigue un trabajo como trabajadora en una escuela secundaria educativa, mi papá no es responsable porque tenía a su esposa e hijos, luego en el momento en que nací su segundo hijo ella es más difícil de trabajar, mi mamá le regala 6 hijos a mi papá sin vivir en casa con él, cuando mi mamá tiene tiempo trabajando ella recauda dinero y decide comprar una casa, en ese momento el gobierno le dio casa y pagó cuotas mensuales, ella decide mudarse y mi papá la sigue ella allí y empieza a vivir con ella y con nosotros.

Then my mom was forced to work and gets a job as a worker in an educational high school, my dad is not responsible because he had his wife and children, then at the time I was born her second child she is harder to work, my mom gives 6 children to my dad without living at home with him, when my mom has time working she collects money and decides to buy a house, at that time the government gave house and paid monthly fees, she decides to move and my dad follows her there and starts living with her and with us.

Estar sola con 6 hijos es difícil, pero de esa manera nos sacó adelante junto con mi padre, nos puso a estudiar a todos, mi hermana mayor poco le gustaba estudiar y prácticamente mi mamá la obligaba, ella no quería que ninguna de nosotras le siguiera los pasos, yo estudié una carrera corta de docencia me gradué con 17 años de edad y ayudaba a mis hermanos con sus estudios ellos fueron muy buenos estudiantes y también ayudaba a mi mamá con el cuido de ellos mientras ella trabajaba.

Being alone with 6 children is difficult, but that's how my father and I managed to get ahead, he put us all to study, my older sister did not like to study and my mother practically forced her, she did not want any of us to follow in her footsteps, I studied a short career in teaching I graduated at 17 years of age and helped my brothers with their studies they were very good students and also helped my mother with the care of them while she worked.

Cuando alguno de nosotros se enfermaba, ella siempre estaba ahí, cuidaba a cada uno de sus nietos. Con el paso del tiempo esa señora poco a poco construyó la casa, solo con el salario de su trabajadora. Su vida ya era tranquila cuando nos vio crecer, la admiro porque era una persona tan poco estudiada que nos enseñó principios y valores. Mi madre cumplió su sueño de que ninguno de nosotros permaneciera sin educación y que nos casáramos para no repetir su historia.

When any of us got sick she was always there, she took care of each of her grandchildren. As time went by that lady slowly built the house, only with her worker's salary. Her life was already a quiet life when she saw us grow up, I admire her because she was a person so little studied that she taught us principles and values. My mother achieved her dreams that none of us would remain uneducated and that we would get married so as not to repeat her story.

La admiro por su valentía ante la vida, por su dedicación para cuidarnos, protegernos y darnos lo que estaba a su alcance, por su valentía para enfrentar los obstáculos que encontró en el camino, por seguir siempre adelante y no rendirse. Mi madre es una mujer dedicada a su familia y siempre ha estado con sus hijos, sobre todo cuando la hemos necesitado.

I admire her for her courage in the face of life, for her dedication to take care of us, protect us and give us what was within her reach, for her courage to face the obstacles she encountered along the way, for always moving forward and not giving up. My mother is a woman dedicated to her family and has always been with her children, especially when we have needed her.

Mi mamá es sinónimo de amor, paciencia, esfuerzo y admiración para muchos, por eso se convierte en mi ídolo, somos una familia pequeña pero llena de amor, disfruta de sus nietos y bisnietos, es una mujer trabajadora y siempre recibe adelante. Su vida no fue la mejor pero con lo poco que logró salir adelante y no rendirse ante las adversidades de la vida, agradezco a Dios por tenerla viva con nosotros.

My mom is synonymous of love, patience, effort and admiration for many, that is why she becomes my idol, we are a small family but full of love, she enjoys her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she is a hardworking woman and always gets ahead. Her life was not the best but with the little she managed to get ahead and not give up before the adversities of life, I thank God for having her alive with us.
