Lights On A Tree

I thought it would be a good time for the three photos that I'm presenting in my post today for #treetuesday. I'm a little late where I live but it's still Tuesday in some parts of the world so I figured I'd sneak my short little post in. By my title you might think I'm showing you Christmas lights on a Christmas tree and that is not really a bad way to look at it but my photos will show colorful lights (or colorful rays) and a tree that are all courtesy of nature!

I took these photos on the Stocksdale Trail and the Sweathouse Trail at the Big Gunpowder Falls State Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. This was at the Central - Sweathouse Area of the park. I mentioned in my last post that the sun was extremely bright this day and I got quite a bit of sun flare in my photos.

I took these photos initially for the pretty moss that was growing on the tree but when I got home and viewed the photos I saw the sun flare and it reminded me of Christmas lights the way it was shining so colorfully on the tree. So, here we are and this really is my third and last photo 'cause in a very short while it won't be Tuesday anymore and I really wanted to show my three photos here before the Holidays! 🙂
