Indonesian BBQ on the street: chicken satay!

Hello, friends especially foodies!

I would like to share about our experience on buying indonesian hawker's food on the street... indonesian bbq, chicken satay.

The stall was located on the Melawai Raya street. The same street with my office, so we went there after i had gotten off from work.

I took this picture before we went home, after our order finished prepared.

The seller only sold satay, he had the original chicken satay, lamb satay and also the popular taichan satay.

We order 15 sticks of original chicken satay plus 3 rice cakes (we asked this to be cut).

luckily when we came no customers there so the seller straightly made our order.

It was only 50,000 IDR or around 3.36 USD for our order.

This was how our satay and rice cake looked like

Hmmm so tasty and yummy with the peanut sauce. The chicken was not too soft but it was roasted well. You could also asked to the satay with some fat if you want.
