Modest but Tasty Takeaway Lunch (below 1 USD for a person)

Hello, friends especially foodies!

Yesterday i accompanied mom to take her phone to the service center and at around lunch that time, but unfortunately we couldn't dine in in all the restaurants here due to the government's restriction so we decided to buy modest food in the canteen in front of park area of the mall.

Here how the food stall looked like

Like you could see here, the owner herself, served us, and also she sold many varieties of dishes here.

We only needed to choose the dishes here, could be with rice or no. Both mom and i chose the rice with 3 kind of dishes. She served nicely and also fast.

We then opened and ate it at home.

Mine was with stirred vegetable called capcay, spicy meatballs, and also fried potato.The capcay had brocolli, carrot, and other vegetables. It tasted lightly savory. While the meatballs tasted sour, spicy, sweet and savory. The fried potato she made always delicious, crunchy but not hard and also savory. Perfect!

Mom also chose the fried potato, balado eggplant (chilli sauce eggplant) plus orek tempeh (tempeh stirred with green bean). The flavour of the balado eggplant was savory and spicy. While tempeh had sweet savory flavour.

And guess how much we paid for our lunch?
It was 28,000 IDR for all cause both of ours' only costed 14,000 IDR so it was just around 1.89 USD for all. Cheap, isn't it?
