Hello, friends especially foodies!

Yesterday i accompanied mom to get the theraphy and also met her doctor in the hospital. So, when we finished, it was nearly lunch time so we decided to go to one of my favorite Indonesian restaurant which had some delicious authentic menus.

Here how it looked like

It was located on 35th, Cipete raya street - South Jakarta.

When we came at around 11.20 am, they already had some customers there. They had a large, clean and neat dining area. Also there were some take away buyers there near the cashier table. It also had some washing hand areas.

After we had our seats, a waitress came to our table, and gave us the menu.

I ordered all our favorite menus here. For your information, this restaurant has established since 1989 in a small city in West Java with the name Cianjur that was why the name was IBC (Ikan Bakar Cianjur, in english means Cianjur Grilled Fish). And this restaurant had some branches in some Indonesian cities.

We only needed to wait around 15 minutes to get all of the food delivered to our table.

Here how our lunch looked like

A waiter offered to take a photo of us when he saw me took a photo of the lunch with mom, so that was why i was also in the picture this time.

To enjoy our lunch more, we had it with our bare washed clean hands. It called 'muluk' here, which means eating rice without spoons and forks, and only with hands.

And now i would like to share about the taste of our lunch...

For the rice, we chose their authentic Nasi Liwet (Flavoured traditional cooked rice and another spicies plus had the teri medan asin - tiny salted fish, on the top). You must try this one, it tasted savory and sooo tasty!

Although their restaurant's name was Cianjur Grilled Fish, one of our favorite menu here for the fish was one that we ordered yesterday, Gurame Goreng (Deep Fried Marinated Carp Fish). It tasted savory, crispy outside, and inside the fish was soft.. Like usually even fried they always made it non oily. Really delicious, I always crave for this menu! You also could enjoy the fish with the spicy sweet soy sauce sambal or red sambal (sambal means chilli paste). Both of us loved the spicy sweet soy sauce sambal cause it gave the spicy sweet flavour to the savory fish, plus it had the fresh smell of lime in it. :9

And we also ordered Tumis Kangkung (saute water spinach). It was fresh and i knew they used organic water spinach, tasted savory and tasty. Non greasy, loved it too!

I paid in the cashier table.

It was 210,210 IDR or around 14.2 USD. Quite expensive, but it was ok, i always love the food here.

Before went home, mom had bought a chocolate satay doughnut which costed 13,200 IDR or around 0.89 USD.

It tasted awesome, soft with delicious chocolate sprinkles on the top. It was so tasty!

On the glass door to enter and out, a waiter was standing to open the door for us.
