Embrace the Blooms

avatar

Embrace each day, one at a time so as to not miss any of the joy raining down upon you. The beauty of a new day. And if the day is not perfect, just know that you have so much to look forward to.

I love the way Claude Monet says that there must always be flowers. Always. I can relate. Can you think of anything more appealing to the soul than the loveliness of blossoms to fill out your day? To be fair, our day here is supremely awesome, and yet... I can still feel the allure of these blooms.

Close your eyes and listen to the breeze, then breathe in some happiness and sunshine for your day. Life will never be perfect in the sense of perfection. But, we can be in a happy place nonetheless.

Perfection is a flawless state where everything is exactly right. It can also be the action of making something perfect. Since perfect things are without fault or flaw, perfection is a perfect condition — everything is 100% great.

I look at the golden loveliness and think to myself, shine your beautiful day upon my face. I was greeted with a cup of coffee at 4 am this morning, a most welcome sight to anyone working nights. It was still steaming, I think, and if it wasn't, the figment of my imagination wants proof that it wasn't. I sat down and enjoyed the peace of the break before dawn, noting that it truly is the little things in life that weigh the heaviest some days.

I got a front parking space last night, even though I was on the other side of early. The metro ran on time. I got out on time this morning. Taken individually, small blips on the radar screen of life, but, added up, it pretty much made my day. And I ask you, how was your day?

I love the wild array of sunshine here, and the random way it grows, creating it own brand of beauty. It was given to me, a small piece of a bigger plant, knowing I love plants. The thoughtfulness is rekindled in my heart, more than a year later.

Life is good, but, it is also the way I choose to view it. I have less than perfect days, many times over, but, I lighten the load by letting go of things that don't really matter in the big scheme of things, stressing less than is necessary.I focus on the good, and will push good thougths your way. As always, there must be a flower, to color my world. #alwaysaflower And just like that, this post is done. Come back tomorrow and we will do it again. Have a wonderful evening!

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

Well today was pretty rough for me. I foolishly lost too much money in crypto. I of all people should have known better. Ah well if I can learn a lesson for the next time, it might have some merit.

You sure look like some happy sunshine in your nice selfie. I always know the favorite part of the blog is the cherry on top :)

But, if you wait three minutes, you should gain it all back, right?

Well. there is no denying that was a good day. I was off taking some pictures of Henry and company for the girls. I needed to get some stock footage of them tacking up and jumping, so watching them work for a living while they are actually having fun makes me smile.

Some people forget they are not big lawn ornaments, but, are actually happier and healthier working for a living. (the horses, not the girls. I think they like when they don't work or go to school, but, just pretending they are rich and don't have to work)

Anyway, you are an easy deal if all you like are cherries.

Such beautiful flowers! That's one of the things I miss in winter: no flowers, unless I go buy myself a bouquet at the florist's shop. Which I have been known to do.

Thank you and yes! You are right! It is the one thing that I miss in the winter, although, I have to admit, I have flowers around most of the season, or sometimes, something sparkly will do the trick! :))

Good morning from here! I hipe you have a wonderful day!

Your feeling that any where, on any day can be a happy place is so uplifting Denise. With all the unrest in the world we need to be able to find and experience those special moments as a counterbalance, where the beauty we see fills our heart with love. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

I am so happy to see you again. 💖 It is the unrest that causes my soul to go into overdrive, trying to find that balance that makes everything manageable. Life has gotten so hectic, has it not?

I hope all is well with you and yours and that you are having a most beautiful night over there. Thank you for making my day feel so good. 💖

Such a beautiful post you take such wonderful flower shots

and I agree its important to focus on the good, deal with the bad when necessary but push uit aside and do not dwell on it, its important or you will let yourself get dragged down

well that works for me at least LOL

(Edited)

I think that works exceedingly well if you ask me. We don't have enough room to dwell on what is wrong with this world, we have a better chance of dealing with what is good.

I don't have to ignore the less than wonderful but, I see enough to know that shifting gears and not giving it all my thought is a happier, healthier me. Life is too short.

That works for me too. Love to you and Lulu! 💖

Yes Life is too short the key is making the most of it, What happened to Lulu at the end of last year only highlighted that for me even more

You are such a ray of sunshine Denise! Always the silver lining. Thank you for sharing such a rainbow of floral beauty. I agree. Always a flower. I think that's one reason I love herbs so much. They are muli purpose AND they usually are covered with flowers. It's so important on our semi desert homestead where regular flowers are a luxury that can't be afforded

Ah, yes! But, herbs have flowers, and I totally get the business end of that. When I was growing up, we used to bring my mother wildflowers from the meadows and woods/forests. One year, we found daylilies and wild irises and filled my mother's gardens with them. Wild roses, whatever we could scavenge. Leaner days.

It had so many different flowers and always looked rather exotic to me. I love your style!
