Everything in its Time

avatar

Everything within its time will be beautiful. Truly. I have no doubt, well hardly - just consider a flower bulb. The bulb is dry and ugly, a shriveled and lifeless thing. Yet, the bulb does contain within itself all the beauty of the flower. In the order of things that will surely happen if all goes right, the bulb puts forth a shoot, the shoot becomes the plant, the plant bears a bud, and the bud breaks open into glorious blossom.

Some things in life just can’t be rushed; they will become beautiful in their time. Become acquainted with the new delight of each day.

And unexpectedly, a brilliant ray of light flooded sunshine upon me. But for today, I walk in the light of knowing it will come again. Some day, someday soon.

"You are my sunshine.
You send color to my gray.
When I’m in tears.
You blow my heartbreak away.
You make me happy when times are down.
You turn my world upside and around.
You catch my tears in your hand.
When I’m in terror you understand.
When I’m falling to the ground.
You catch me and twirl my heart around.
When I’m surrounded by darkness within the night.
You come around and cast your light.
If you weren't here I don’t know what I'd do.
Sunshine, I really love you."

Despite trying to close the winter up with an arctic blast, I am reminded that you can find beauty in the most quiescent things. I was out running and started whining about the glacial air that bit and dried my skin, but then there are the days that the sun does come out and you see the fragile beauty that is still left behind from the fall.

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
― Lewis Carroll

Thank you for visiting my post 💖 and, following along. Just know that there is so much love in my heart for all of you.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Shakespeare

I love it. Your poem moved me. It fills with so much meaning about love. I lost it before and I regretted it.

By the way, yeah there will always be the time to bloom. Light for sure will come even in the darkness. Maybe all we need is patience. We will be surprised when it comes in the right time.

You know what an optimist I am! There will be darkness illuminated by the light. Patience, my friend. When the time is right, there will be no stopping it.

Thank you so much for your kind words, always. Did you really lose it. or was it lost on you? There will be love once again. We must start by loving ourself and work forward. xo

Sometimes certain things take a long time from start to finish! It’s a challenge or a test of stamina, wit and presence of mind to float along this flow of time! Looking around I find your positive vibes to keep me riding the waves till I reach the shore!

Cheers.

I agree that we have to keep the positive running, otherwise, the alternative it's not a happy one. Some things to take more time from start to finish and sometimes they take a little bit longer than that. We as humans bad habit of being impatient. It is challenging but oh, I've learned a lot from you about the presence of mind and it has been extremely helpful. So I thank you for that and I wish you a most wonderful day.

🙏 Thank you very much for your gentle words and soothing melody of your words. My brain is a bit fuzzy from not having enough sleep. Seven planets in conjunction at once has impacted the electromagnetic flows around the world; so many earthquakes and strange weather around the world these few days! I could sense the future confusion and people’ struggles. Got to remind myself to let these pass through me; just have to be more centered and mindful.

Take care.

Very much food for thought! You are right, @dswigle, there is much beauty that surrounds us daily, but we often don't notice or take the time to enjoy. My drive to work is only 10 minutes from home, but the beauty that surrounds me on that drive is at times amazing! Most days, I will notice; some I do not.

When we hike up in the mountains, oh my, what we see! I often wonder of our party of 3, if I am the only one who notices that there are many, many varieties of moss growing in the forest?

Thank you for reminding all of us to stop and really look for the beauty that is there. Take care, my friend!💜

Isn't it amazing the things that we see and yet, don't see them? It has always been the small things in life that garnered my attention, although, often ridiculed that I don't get the BIG picture focusing on the little things, but, it is not the focus as much as paying attention to all that surrounds us. The small help to make the larger things big.

Thank you, always for stopping by! Have a great day!

Everything has its time. We must not anticipate the moments or the results. In the Bible in Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 there is a very timely message. In short, it says that everything under heaven has its time. Time to be born, to die, to plant, to harvest, to cry and to laugh. Time silent, to speak, to love and hate. Time of war and time of peace.

How beautiful it is that God shows us all the instructions for living and it is beautiful when we follow them and give love even in bad times. Thank you very much for your spaces of love. Blessings.
