A Foggy, Jack Frost Walk in the Local Forest

Disappointingly, the snow that was forecast never arrived. Fog and Jack Frost did turn up though, so I set off for a walk with my friend and her two dogs. Eventhough, there wasn't any snow, I still like this kind of weather, foggy and damp.

Mr Lurcher sat and waited for us. We were a bit slower walking then him. However, he will only go so far in front and then he will sit and wait for us to catch up.

It was still quite cold but once we got walking, we soon warmed up.

We walked past a massive rhododendron bush which will look lovely during the summer months.

I really enjoy this particular walk. Eventhough, it is very popular with other dog walkers, there are that many different footpaths, you rarely meet anyone else. This helps enormously when one of the dogs doesn't like other dogs!

After a good two hour walk we made our way back to the car. The weather forecasters still promise us snow, so we didn't want to get stuck in it as it can come down very quickly.
