Smells like food in the air! Our affective memory often uses smell to remember special moments

Hi Friends!

With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, events that relate more to family tradition, gathering around the lunch or dinner table, are happening less and less.

This routine ends up being lost and the food is no longer a special moment. However, we believe that it is possible to reverse this situation with homemade food made on the wood stove.

Those who ate know: the food is much tastier and brings to the table the essence of peaceful life in the country.

With increasingly modern designs, stoves have had a boom in the industrial world, and it is also a charming decoration item.

But, when you need to improvise a stove, all you have to do is remember the passage through school and the teachings that the indigenous people left us. Also many of our grandparents left us good lessons on home stoves. Example:

How to use the wood stove?

Homemade food made on the wood stove is already special in itself.

Starting with the way to light the fire: each one chooses the method that is most comfortable for them.

But the most common is to distribute thick wood at the bottom of the stove and small sticks on top of the pile. Everything must be very dry for the fire to light well.

So the ideal is to use a long piece of rolled paper to light. When the flame hits the big logs, it means it's time to cook!

To keep the fire on for cooking, medium wood is recommended. This question is very important when using the oven, as roasts generally have more sensitive cooking.

Keeping the temperature constant makes a difference in food preparation.

Another factor that influences is the amount of wood used: neither too much nor too little. Always try to keep the same amount to facilitate the cooking process.

One precaution that people should take is in relation to frying pans.

It is recommended to avoid the finest ones, which can damage with the heat of the stove.

Cables must be made of metal or wood. Also, clay pots are best suited to be thicker. When the heat is low, steel pans can be used.

These are some of my experiences that I share with you, "simplicity is not the absence of power", with a small fire with the appropriate wood you can cook your favorite dish and share it with the family at your table.
