Hiding real information of Corona and COVID 19

Corona is not a territory matter. It’s now a global issue. It is saying that some of the countries are trying to hide the exact scenario of corona. I don’t know whether it is true or false. This information is leaking in some YouTube Channels. Those YouTube channels are mentioning that for political reason, some countries are trying to hide the exact information. Even American President Mr. Donald Trump claimed that China is hiding the exact information of Corona virus. And we have seen the number of deaths has been changed there after lockdown when journalist went there although they stated that due to collecting information, this number was not recorded. Whatever the exact cause, we don’t know the real. There are some talking by general people that normally government try to hide the exact information, maybe it’s a rumor. But general people in different social media saying that to ensure the power, some government may manipulate the information. Someone wants to show his country Strong; someone wants to show his country vulnerable; someone wants to prove that the government is successful. For these, a few governments in the World may be (or is) hiding real information of corona situation. Here I am explaining some reasons why any government should not manipulate the real information of corona virus.

It’s said that Never tell a lie. Sometimes we can see that, some country leaders forget this wise saying while trying to damage other nation or improve his nation. There should be some bad impact of it at least in the long run. Here I am pointing out five reasons why any country should not manipulate the corona information.

To Help Researchers:

Research are basically of two types one is scientific and another one is social. Scientific researchers are continuously doing their research for the vaccination and medicine of the virus. For this research, normally don’t much more statistics of virus spread rather samples. On the other hand, some social researchers are trying to apply the data to interpret some relationship or prediction. They are doing research to establish a curve of relationship on age, location, culture, contamination and virus spreading. So, without exact data, its very difficult for them to set up a good graph which shows the exact picture. These relationships are very important to know about the effected aged group, intensity of effected area and some other factors customized. This data or relation can help us in prediction and being caution as well. Now you can easily understand what can happen if any government hide some information! Will happen the instance like: Researchers will tell about any region that its less risky zone having good environment and strong immunity with minimal effected people, but after couple of days the dying will the high in that region. Something like can be happened.

People’s Consciousness

The consciousness level of people is exactly depending on the situation. When the any country’s situation is not bad then normally people will not be conscious enough. And they will not take it seriously. So, by hiding the real information, people may be trapped. They may over excited or over cautious about the situation which can impact in the whole community badly. For example, if any country’s people know that their county is highly effected (But exactly not), then they may stop all sort of work which will directly affect on earning, economy, taxation etc. On the contrary (hiding effected number), may don’t take the matter seriously thus can be affected badly. So, both ways, its hampers.

Measuring the loss

Identification of exact situation is really important to know the exact loss due to the virus. For example, some doctors and professors have been died with COVID 19. They are valuable person for any nation. If government hide their death, it will be very difficult to measure how much amount of loss has been done by this situation. Its really important. Although sometimes it is not measurable by number or value, but people want to know the numbers (at least around value). Around close value has to be taken to show or identify the exact loss in terms of number or value. There may some private researcher or foreign researchers who will give wrong data in terms of loss if they don’t get the real information. It will happen to the government as well. Because when government will hide information, it will be covered by a few high officials but others may mislead in measuring the exact loss.

Taking proper decision

There are some steps in taking decision you may know the steps. Mainly three steps.

Identifying the alternatives
Analyzing or evaluating the alternatives
Choosing best one among all.
Out of all the tasks, second one is very much important and troublesome and then first one. If you do the first one right, then can’t do the second one properly then it will not reach you to the proper decision. So, second one, that is analyzing part is so important. For evaluating the alternatives, you need some real data so that you can calculate some value or numbers for each of the alternatives. Thus, real information is very essential for evaluating the alternatives thus choosing the right decision. How can you deicide well with wrong input! Now you should easily understand that how important it is to take proper decision.

Comparing with other nations

It’s a global village now. Those countries are not restricting internet, will be difficult for them to hide the real information. A lot of gadgets out there and huge number of people like administration, doctor, nurse, press, relatives of the patients etc are involved here. So, the information will leak, thus it will be a matter of joke to the government by not only citizens but also by the other nation. As the World is close enough, its need to compare the power of any nation with others all the time to protect themselves in the diplomatic and political race. Without knowing the game theory or strength of enemy, its difficult to maintain proper relation. In the context of loss and other situation, its really important to get the real information for comparing with other nation.

By knowing all the things hopefully, still some are doing this manipulation. Why! They know better. I don’t know. Even I don’t know which nation is doing so. But some information is coming in the internet specially in YouTube, may be as a rumor. I want to conclude by requesting those not to do so and those also who is leaking information without justifying the truth. Finally, in the sake of nation or diplomacy, you can’t speak lie. Because lie is always lie and have some bad impact obviously.
