An Anonymous Portrait

avatar

Over the past few months, I've done a lot of experimental sketches and so far I've mastered lots of techniques. A friend however for a while now has been warning me that my sketches are begining to lack the depth that at first attracted him. That I think is owing to the fact that I changed pencils, moved a little bit down on the graphite level.

At the beginning of the year while pondering on other forms to explore before moving to still, abstract drawing and then painting I felt that I should make new sketches without blending them. And this I've been doing. Today's sketch is one of my very recent finished anonymous portraits. I hope you love it. Do feel free to leave a comment below...

This sketch was made using only 2 and 6B Bianyo pencils.
