The old man got me tickling but I couldn't laugh out with these increase in fares

A new dorn is here with us one more time, a new hour has started its count in another week, and I must say such a hilarious morning it has been for me just this early morning as I board a cab to face another chapter of the week. I couldn't laugh in the cab even though the situation was a laughable one but to these old people around they might take it in a wrong way.

Even since the pandemic got of the hook in my country, Ghana and the president came out to let these cab drivers (Taxi drivers) to reduce the number of persons who board a cab or bus, they have come all out to say all sort of things about them lossing a whole lot of money and more over the fuel prices too keep going up.

So these cries of them for some weeks ago got to the government and the promise came that there were going to be some adjustments that would ease their cry. Even before the government could come up with something, some drivers had already increased the prices of fare around that the mere passenger couldn't do anything about it.

Just somewhere within last week there was an official report that the fare have been increased by 15% to help all these drivers that keep saying they were choked with the prices around. In there press release the 15% increase is to take effect from yesterday which was Sunday, 12th July, 2020.

But this morning there was this old man who has been nagging in the cab that I was on board saying the price increase was never necessary and these drivers has just made him personally loss interest in boarding a cab now on. I couldn't laugh though even in as much as some of the says around was laughable.

We all hate the situation though but since it's official now, we just have to adopt it and live in the moment. All need is life and the energy to do whatever we are supposed to do each day for if there is life, we have the hope to make up something.
