Together we grow, together we live. All together we are in another cool morning in Saturday and I must say I look so tired and feel like sleeping again. But the problem is I can’t take that sleep now since I have to be at the office and am even late to leave house.

Actually, today seems the day I woke up early this week though and in as much as I woke early I had a lot to catch up even before I leave home to work. I had to wash some clothing and stuffs before I left home since it is the only day I can get the little time to waste before I get to work. And I must say it took me about 2 hours 30 minutes to get all the washing done.

Quickly I had to wash down first even before I sat down to draft this post. Like I always say on Saturdays, I saw many numbers today jogging around, and even though I wish I was jogging too, I had stuffs to do and so I only watch them from afar as they kept going.

It has really being long since I last gave an update on the situation of covid-19 cases in my country. I quit remember the last time I talked about our situation we were stand at 5,638 confirmed cases with 28 deaths and a total recovery of 1,460. Just after the next day of these cases we had an add up of 97 cases which moved our total number of confirmed cases from 5,638 to 5,735. The number of deaths too had one additional case which made it 29 in total. As for the recoveries we went up a little of adding 294 new recoveries which moved our recoveries from 1,460 to 1,754.

Days after the figures above we kept adding more confirmed cases and deaths, which brought our figure to 5,918 confirmed cases with 31 deaths and still had the same number of recoveries standing at 1,754. And just 2 days ago we saw another change in figures at the number of confirmed cases and recoveries. These add up made us move from the 5k zone to finally touch the 6k zone. Our total number of confirmed cases 2 days ago went as 6,096 with 31 patients who had died. The total number of recoveries went to stand at 1,773.

Any our last update was yesterday which got me to write this post made up to move higher again with 6,486 confirmed cases with the total number of deaths standing at 31 with no increment. The total number of recoveries on the other hand did move up a little with an add up of 188 new recoveries that brought our total number of recoveries standing at 1,951 .

It has been quite a journey and I must say we are really try to fight covid-19 out of our world. To all the departed souls i say may their souls Rest In Peace, to all those who are still under treatment, I wish you a speedy recovery, and to all souls that had recovered I say to them not to go and act the same way that brought them the sickness but they should help others the importance of practicing all safety measures.

WOW, you have super low number of cases and death as a result of COVID in your country! In mine, the Netherlands with about 17 million population, we have much higher figures (more like 6k deaths already). But what we see in my country as in many to all other countries in the world, declining numbers of new infected and deaths. I start to believe more and more the scientist who think we achieved herd immunity already. The problem is, the indications for herd immunity is increasing, the solid proof is still lacking. I just published a post about all of this, in case you are interested. It includes two very recent interviews held with top scientists in the UK of which one worked with WHO before and the other is connected with Oxford university. I do hope we have indeed achieved herd immuniuty already, so we can go back to the old normal asap :) Until than, stay safe and foremost stay sane! :)
