Sembrando frutales. / Planting fruit trees.

Estoy tratando de preparar algunas plantas para que puedan crecer y reproducir en macetas. Claro, las macetas son más grandes que de lo común. Ahora estoy usando los envases vacíos de pintura. Los de 5 y 4 litros de pintura.

Lo primero es retirar todo el resto de pintura y hacer agujeros al final del envase, para que el agua drene fácilmente.

También me encontré con esta maceta. Tenía una planta de tomate y ya termino de producir. Así que le retiré toda la tierra. Coloqué unas piedras pequeñas a manera de obstruir un poco el agujero, para que no se salga la tierra de la siembra.

I am trying to prepare some plants so that they can grow and reproduce in pots. Sure, the pots are bigger than usual. Now I am using the empty paint containers. Those with 5 and 4 liters of paint.

The first thing is to remove all the rest of the paint and make holes at the end of the container, so that the water drains easily.

I also came across this pot. It had a tomato plant and was done producing. So I took all the land away from it. I placed some small stones to obstruct the hole a little, so that the soil does not come out of the planting.

Ahora le coloco la tierra, es una buena tierra con abundante abono orgánico. Para que mi planta pueda desarrollar ramas fuertes y buenas raíces.

Now I put the soil in it, it's a good soil with abundant organic fertilizer. So that my plant can develop strong branches and good roots.

Al árbol que muestro le corto todas las raíces más fuertes. La raíz pivotante, que es la principal, le retiro casi dos tercios de su tamaño. Y las raíces secas y más largas las corto.

I cut all the strongest roots from the tree here. I remove almost two thirds of the pivoting root, which is the main one. And I cut dry and longer roots.

Toda la tierra que tiene pegada junto con una gran maraña de raíces las retiro cuidadosamente. Revisando que no corte la mayoría de las raíces nuevas, ya que estas son las encargadas de suplir de nutrientes a la planta. Después de toda la limpieza, esta raíz se observa así.

All the earth that has stuck together with a great tangle of roots I remove carefully. Checking that it does not cut most of the new roots, since these are the ones in charge of supplying nutrients to the plant. After all cleaning, the root looks like this.

Ahora la coloco en la maceta que previamente coloque con tierra. Le agrego mas tierra. Y procedo a cortar las ramas más altas. Casi la mitad de la planta la corto. Y también corto las ramas más débiles y las que crecen hacia adentro y cruzadas. Mi nuevo árbol está listo. Debo esperar a ver si responde a todo este tratamiento de belleza que acabo de realizar.

Now I place it in the pot that I previously prepared with soil. I add more land. And I proceed to cut the highest branches. Almost half of the plant was cut. And I also cut weaker branches and those that grow inward and cross. My new tree is ready. I must wait to see if it responds to all this beauty treatment that I just performed.

Este es un árbol de mandarina. Miren está respondiendo satisfactoriamente. Esta retoñando las yemas nuevas. Debo esperar a que fortalezca sus ramas y coloco abono floral orgánico. Para otra oportunidad tomaré las fotos con las flores.

This is a tangerine tree. Look how it's responding satisfactorily. It's sprouting the new buds. I have to wait for it to strengthen its branches and apply organic floral fertilizer. For another opportunity I will take some photos with the flowers.

Hice lo mismo con otras plantas frutales. De limón, de guanabana y de cereza. También el resultado es evidente que me satisface. Nuevas yemas, nuevas hojas y raíces superficiales que se observan están fortaleciéndose.

I did the same with other fruit plants. Lemon, soursop and cherry. Also the result is clearly satisfying. New buds, new leaves, and shallow roots being observed are getting stronger.
