PicsArt_08-03-02.19.25.jpg

Let's have fun before I begin with the recipe, I'd like us to test our IQ a bit πŸ˜‚;

Kindly say silk 5 times repeatedly πŸ˜‚:silk! silk!! silk!!! silk!!!! silk!!!!!

Now spell Silk = SILK right? πŸ˜‚

Now my question goes thus ;

WHAT DO COWS DRINK? πŸ€”

I'd give you a moment to think about the answer

I bet most people said Milk πŸ˜‚πŸ₯›. But Hell No! Cows drink Water and produces Milk πŸ˜‚.

So over to our Recipe for the day

Making Rice and Tasty Egg and Tomatoes Sauce:

Before starting, I had to visit the maket to get few stuffs for my Lunch :

Requirements :

Rice
Plantain
Onions
Maggi
Pepper
Tomatoes (fresh /tin)
Eggs
Green beans
Curry
Thyme
Salt
Turmeric

Step 1:

Boil your Rice for about 20-25 mins until it gets soft

Nothing much here just applied a photography preset on my Adobe lightroom to yield this :

When the rice is soft you filter it to remove the starchy content from the rice and boil again for a short time.

Step 2:

Peel your plantain and Slice it to your preferred shape :

Step 3:

Place your oil in a frying pan on the fire and heat for a while :

Step 4:

Gently pour your cut plantain into the hot oil and fry for a while :

Step 5:

When frying your plantain, use a frying spoon to evenly stir till you start seeing a slight change of colour on the plantain :

Step 6:

Use the frying spoon to separate the plantain from the hot oil and put inside a dried filter or plate :

Step 10:

Fry your onions and green beans :

Add your maggi cubes, tomatoes and pepper to it:

Step 12:

Break your eggs into a plate and stir continuously:

I had to turn the frying pan content to a bigger pot here because it looked to small to contain the egg

Get your spices ready :

Add your Cury, Thyme, Turmeric, and salt in a moderate quantity as you wouldn't want to spill your dish with excess spices in it :

Add your eggs to it :

After adding the eggs, stir to make it scrambled. Then you fry all together for about 5-8 minutes.

This was a huge wow for me!!! I am so impressed with the way you put your post together and the quality of the entire thing. I love your photography and how you show step by step. Even if you didn't know how to cook, you would be able to manage to do this as there is no making a mistake the way you have it all laid out.

There are not many posts that go to a challenge and nail it from the first post.

You carefully name each one and then show how much. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your culture with all of us through your cooking. It is, without a doubt, such an awesome contribution to the cultural exchange and to the #MarketFriday. I appreciate the love and support you are giving to #MarketFriday! We have grown to a nice size group and it has been simply delightful! I feel like the more the merrier. We have such a great group here and I encourage you to scroll through a few here and enjoy them as they will enjoy yours. There are so many challenges here on Hive and it warms my heart to see that you chose to be a part of this one. It is people such as yourself that made it into such a successful challenge! It takes a lot of effort and thoughts to put together a post for the #MarketFriday challenge. I know this first-hand and so, again, it is appreciated. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

How to Participate:

Go to the market! Any market will do! Food, clothing, plant, or animal, if you wish. You can go to the zoo, an art auction, and restaurants. Anywhere or anything that you pay money for any kind of service.
Take pictures! Be creative! It’s fun!
Tell us a little bit about the market, what brought you here?
Post the picture.(s)
Don’t forget to use the MarketFriday Community #196308 to post from or hashtag it! #MarketFriday by @dswigle If you hashtag it, drop the link to your post here so I can easily find them.

Thanks for stopping by 😊. I'm really glad you like the post. #MarketFriday is one of my favourite challenge here on hive as it adds fun to my cooking hobby. Though I'm still aiming towards perfection, it's really a cool thing to share with others the little you know. 😊. I'd be glad to invite and tell my friends about #MarketFriday and also encourage them to join in.
