Hello to all the Gems community, those who read my presentation will know that I told them that I have a small collection of Rubik's Cubes, because in this post I want to show you each one of the members of this one and tell you a little bit about each one.

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, los que leyeron mi presentación sabrán que les conté que tengo una pequeña colección de Cubos de Rubik, pues en este post quiere mostrarles cada uno de los miembros de esta y hablarles un poco de cada uno.

     I had my first Rubik's cube when I was about 10 years old, but since I never managed to solve it, I left it behind, so much so that I never saw that cube again. Years later, thanks to a YouTube channel I stumbled upon by chance called TheMaoisha, my passion for these was reborn.

     Tuve mi primer cubo de Rubik muy pequeño, como a los 10 años, pero como nunca logré resolverlo, lo dejé abandonado, tanto así que no volví a ver ese cubo. Años más tarde, gracias a un canal de YouTube que me topé por casualidad llamado TheMaoisha, mi pasión por estos, renació.

     My first cube was this one, a super cheap 3x3 cube that I found in a kiosk inside a mall, it was pretty bad in fact, the pieces would fall off and it would fall apart if you weren't careful, but thanks to this one I was able to learn how to put it together and get into this world of puzzles of this style.

     Mi primer cubo fue este, un cubo 3x3 súper barato que me encontré en un kiosco dentro de un centro comercial, era bastante malo de hecho, se le caían las piezas y se desarmaba si no tenías cuidado, pero gracias a este pude aprender a armarlo y adentrarme en este mundo de los rompecabezas de este estilo.

     After a while, I managed to start expanding my collection, with the purchase of 3 more cubes, these I bought in a Chinese store called Lightake and it took me more than 1 month to get my hands on them, these are indispensable in any collection.

     Luego de un tiempo, logré comenzar a ampliar mi colección, con la compra de 3 cubos más, estos los compré en una tienda china llamada Lightake y me tardaron más de 1 mes en llegar a mis manos, estos son indispensables en cualquier colección.

Shengshou Aurora 3x3

     This was my first quality 3x3 cube, and without being expensive at all, it fulfilled very well what was asked of it, with it I managed to lower my resolution times to 30 seconds. I don't have a photo of this one because I gave it to my cousin as a souvenir when she had to leave the country, but I have a great love for this cube.

     Este fue mi primer cubo 3x3 de calidad, y que, sin ser para nada caro, cumplía muy bien con lo que se le pedía, con el logré bajar mis tiempos de resolución a 30 segundos. De este no tengo foto porque se lo regalé a mi prima como recuerdo cuando se tuvo que ir del país, pero le tengo un amor muy grande a ese cubo.

Shengshou 4x4

     Here we increase the difficulty a bit, and its resolution form is quite different from the usual 3x3. As you may have noticed, this one suffered the attacks of my nephew when he was newborn, I hope to buy him some new stickers to make him like new.

     Ya aquí aumentamos un poco la dificultad, y su forma de resolución es bastante distinta a la de un 3x3 habitual. Como ya habrán notado, este sufrió los ataques de mi sobrino cuando estaba recién nacido, espero en algún momento comprarle unos nuevos stickers para dejarlo como nuevo.

LanLan 2x2

     Another indispensable one, a 2x2 cube, even if it seems simpler because of its appearance, the truth is that to be able to solve it we need to know how to put together the 3x3 of all life first. This one was not of very good quality, it was very cheap, but to start learning, it is more than enough.

     Otro indispensable, un cubo 2x2, por más que por su apariencia parezca más sencillo, lo cierto es, que para poder resolverlo necesitamos saber armar el 3x3 de toda la vida primero. Este no era de muy buena calidad, era muy barato, pero para comenzar a aprender, es más que suficiente.

     Some time later I bought another indispensable one, a Shengshou Megaminx, this one has the same system as a 3x3 but in the shape of a dodecahedron, it doesn't increase its complexity so much, but its resolution time

     Un tiempo después me compré otro indispensable, un Shengshou Megaminx, este tiene el mismo sistema que un 3x3 pero en forma de dodecaedro, no aumenta tanto su complejidad, pero si su tiempo de resolución

     A few months later I made my first big purchase at Lightake, this time with some slightly more expensive buckets, but with much better quality and performance.

     A los meses hice mi primera compra grande en Lightake, esta vez con algunos cubos un poco más caros, pero eso sí, de mucha mejor calidad y rendimiento.

Moyu AoLong V2

     This is another 3x3 of much better quality, in fact, Feliks Zemdegs, broke the world record with this same model, today is my favorite, which I have armed many times and with which I made my record of 13.2 seconds.

     Este es otro 3x3 de mucha mejor calidad, de hecho, Feliks Zemdegs, rompió el record del mundo con este mismo modelo, a día de hoy es mi favorito, el que he armado muchas más veces y con el que hice mi record de 13.2 segundos.

Dayan Zanchi 2x2

     Since my LanLan didn't give me the performance I wanted, I went for a better option, this bucket apart from being the best of its time, is much more comfortable to solve.

     Ya que mi LanLan no me daba el rendimiento que yo quería, fui por una opción mejor, este cubo aparte de ser el mejor de su época, es mucho más cómodo de resolver.

Moyu Pyraminx

     Possibly the simplest cube of my collection, but this one could not be missing, since something that many people do not know, is that this one was created before the same rubik's cube.

     Posiblemente el cubo más sencillo de mi colección, pero este no podía faltar, ya que algo que mucha gente no sabe, es que este fue creado antes que el mismo cubo de rubik.

LanLan 3x3x2

     This is my first and only cuboid, as you will see, it is not symmetrical like the previous ones, because of them its resolution method varies a lot, which was a new challenge for me.

     Este es mi primer y único cuboide, como verán, no es simétrico como los anteriores, por ellos su método de resolución varía muchísimo, lo cual era un nuevo reto para mí.

Shengshou Mirror Blocks 3x3

     This is a quite peculiar cube, since it's a modification of the typical 3x3 rubik's cube, but in this case, we change the colors, by shapes, because of this the cube deforms a lot, and at the beginning, it's quite complicated, until you grab the thread.

     Este es un cubo bastante peculiar, ya que es una modificación del típico cubo de rubik 3x3, pero en este caso, cambiamos los colores, por formas, debido a esto el cubo se deforma muchísimo, y al principio, es bastante complicado, hasta que la agarras el hilo.
