(ENG/ESP) Hive Creative Contest - My Happiness Mantra

This week @zord189 in his weekly contest invites us to create and share our happiness mantra, a phrase that we can say every morning when we get out of bed.

Esta semana @zord189 en sus concurso semanal nos invita a crear y compartir un mantra de felicidad, una frase que podamos decir cada mañana cuando nos levantemos de la cama.

My mantra:
"Today I am going to enjoy my family and share my joy"

Mi mantra: Hoy voy a disfrutar de mi familia y compartir momentos de alegría.

My family is the most important thing in my life, I am happy to have my mother and share her last years of life with her. Despite her 90 years, she is very healthy and lucid, the little moments that we share fill me with smiles. Every afternoon we sit on the porch to talk, she tells me many anecdotes about her life and I treasure every word in my memory. I would like to tell the new generation how wonderful and strong their grandmother Servilia was.

Mi familia es lo más importante en mi vida, me siento feliz de tener a mi mamá y compartir con ella sus últimos años de vida. A pesar de sus 90 años ella está muy sana y lúcida, los pequeños momentos que compartimos me llenan de sonrisas. Todas las tarde nos sentamos en el porche a conversar, ella me cuenta muchas anécdotas sobre su vida y yo atesoro cada palabra en mí memoria. Me gustaría contar a la nueva generación lo maravillosa y fuerte que fue su abuela Servilia.

These times that we have been locked up at home due to Covid19 have allowed me to spend more time with my sister and my mother, together we play board games and have a lot of fun, although we always let my mother win. We also like to walk in the garden and breathe fresh air, water and cut the plants, pray together, watch television, and prepare delicious meals. We try to take advantage of the time and do things to keep ourselves distracted and not think about the problems that afflict my country.

Estos tiempos que hemos estado encerrados en casa por el Covid19 me han permitido pasar más tiempo con mi hermana y mi mamá, juntas jugamos juegos de mesa y nos divertimos mucho, aunque siempre dejamos que mi mamá gane. También nos gusta caminar por el jardín y respirar aire puro, regar y cortar las plantas, orar juntas, ver televisión y preparar ricas comidas. Tramos de aprovechar el tiempo y hacer cosas para mantenernos distraídas y no pensar en los problemas que aquejan a mi país.

I am convinced that we must take care of our parents when they are old, they gave everything to make us good people. When we are old is when I feel we need care and love from the family the most, it makes me happy to help my mother to be loved and calm, she is my rock.

Estoy convencida que debemos cuidar de nuestros padres cuando son viejos y no ameritan de cuidados hospitalarios, ellos dieron todo para hacer de nosotros personas de bien. Cuando somos viejos es cuando más necesitamos de cuidados y amor de la familia, me hace feliz ayudar a que mi mamá se sienta querida y tranquila, ella es mí roca.

I also spend my time chatting via WhatsApp with my other three sisters, my best friends, we have a group called Las Nuñez. Although I haven't seen them for some time, we tell each other everything we do during the day. I look forward to this pandemic issue being resolved so that I can see them again.

También paso mi tiempo conversando vía whatsapp con mis otras tres hermanas, mis mejores amigas, tenemos un grupo llamado Las Nuñez. Aunque tengo tiempo que nos la veo nos contamos todo lo que hacemos en el día. Espero con ansias que este problema de la pandemia se resuelva para poder verlas de nuevo.

Today and every day of my life I am going to enjoy those little moments with my family that make me happy.

Hoy y todos los días de mi vida voy a disfrutar de esos pequeños momentos en familia que me hacen feliz.
