Hola queridos amigos, espero cómo siempre estén de lo mejor,

Hoy, siguiendo la secuencia de la serie de piezas cortas, les traigo una de las tantas que tuve la dicha de interpretar y que me marcó muchísimo, por todo lo emocional que su melodia y su armonía abarcan, algo sumamente intenso,

Esta obra tuve la oportunidad de interpretarla con piano en mi país, mucho antes de venirme a Argentina, así que el video que les dejo es uno de los tantos ensayos que tuvimos para el recital.

Otro punto curioso a mencionar es que esta pieza muy pero muy poco se toca y sinceramente no sé la razón,

Todo empezando mientras buscaba piezas que me gustasen y que a su vez no fueran las que siempre se interpretan, así que viendo todo el catálogo de varios compositores, me decanté por una belleza que no me lamento de haber estudiado.

Esta pieza es del compositor alemán Max Bruch quien vivió y le sacó provecho al romanticismo de este país, sacando una forma muy técnica de componer, cosa que se ve en sus obras, sobretodo las de violin.

Cuando me refiero a técnica me refiero a que sus conciertos y sus obras en general son verdaderamente trabajadas, armónicamente y melodicamente.

Ya teniendo esta esencia, un tiempo después el compositor crearía un lazo importante con el violinista húngaro Joseph Joachim quien en su momento fue una especie de "boom" por su grandísima técnica.

Este aporte que el violinista tuvo a con el compositor sería muy beneficioso para sus trabajos violinisticos futuros, cómo lo es el caso de sus tres conciertos de violin, siendo el primero el más famoso (precisamente por su técnica), el cual curiosamente es dedicado a este mismo violinista.

Para ya empezar a hablar de la pieza, notaremos como hay una especie de "serenidad" con una unión de "misterio" en este comienzo de la armonía (que originalmente es para orquesta, pero que en el video lo interpreta la pianista) y que poco a poco va dándole paso a la entrada al violin,

Esta melodía muy "caprichosa" por todos estos cambios de tiempo y toda esta cantidad de notas, sumado a la tonalidad menor, que complementa al misterio del comienzo del piano,

Luego cuando termina esta primera intervención el piano va a proponer otra idea armónica, mucho más fluida pero igual de misteriosa. Una especie de pesar, de algo sentimental, que va a tener una respuesta en el violin. Una especie de "pregunta y repuesta"

Acá es donde empieza algo más apasionado, algo que se aferra a lo terrenal. El alcanzar algo, el tener a alguien, el sentir ese algo que te pesa sentimentalmente. Una especie de desahogo en el violin que hace Bruch, para luego dejar la parte más fluida y romántica. Algo sumamente lindo.

Today, following the sequence of the series of short pieces, I bring you one of the many that I had the happiness to interpret and that marked me a lot, for everything emotional that its melody and harmony encompass, something extremely intense,

I had the opportunity to play this piece with the piano in my country, long before I came to Argentina, so the video I leave you with is one of the many rehearsals we had for the recital.

Another curious point to mention is that this piece is played very, very little and I honestly don't know the reason,

All starting while looking for pieces that I liked and that in turn were not the ones that are always interpreted, so seeing the entire catalog of various composers, I opted for a beauty that I do not regret having studied.

This piece is by the German composer Max Bruch who lived and took advantage of the romanticism of this country, taking out a very technical way of composing, which is seen in his works, especially those of violin.

When I refer to technique, I mean that his concerts and his works in general are truly worked, harmonically and melodically.

Already having this essence, some time later the composer would create an important bond with the Hungarian violinist Joseph Joachim who at the time was a kind of "boom" for his great technique.

This contribution that the violinist had to the composer would be very beneficial for his future violin works, as is the case with his three violin concerts, the first being the most famous (precisely for his technique), which curiously is dedicated to this same violinist.

To start talking about the piece, we will notice how there is a kind of "serenity" with a union of "mystery" in this beginning of the harmony (which is originally for the orchestra, but which is played by the pianist in the video) and that little by little it gives way to the entrance to the violin,

This very "capricious" melody due to all these changes of time and all this amount of notes, added to the minor key, which complements the mystery of the beginning of the piano,

Then when this first intervention ends, the piano will propose another harmonic idea, much more fluid but just as mysterious. A kind of regret, something sentimental, that will have an answer on the violin. A kind of "question and answer"

This is where something more passionate begins, something that clings to the earthly. Reaching something, having someone, feeling that something that weighs on you emotionally. A kind of outlet in the violin that Bruch does, and then leave the most fluid and romantic part. Something extremely cute.
