Lawyer (Freewrite Challenge)

I got to meet the mom of my deaf friend. That deaf friend if mind has always been assisting her mom because she's already aged, and no one from her children are able to do the care, except my deaf friend who is quite of age too. I saw them while eating in a fastfood restaurant, and the mom gladly welcomed me to join them.

While talking to my friend's mom, she always mention the profession of her certain son or daughter like "my soldier son", "my nurse daughter", or "my lawyer son". Well, I can see she's very much particular with regards to profession. She's been really proud of her sons and daughters, especially the lawyer one.

I have been to their house already, and it can't be said that they are rich, but they seemed living well. Aside from her deaf daughter (who's our friend), she also has a deaf son. She even said that if her two deaf children are not deaf, they might be professional too.

If you are narrow-minded, you might think the mom is arrogant for boasting the professions in her family, however, I don't see it that way. She's just a mom who's proud of her children's achievements, and every parent feels the same. There might be over-mentioning of the professions but I saw it sharing her happiness. In fact, she's very kind the way she's been hospitable to us.
