My World (Music Themed 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge)

Music artists and their labels at times make a strategy for the artist to sell records. At times, they'll release an EP or extended play first before their first studio album, while others release an EP after their album. Aside from that, another album (either compilation or remix) might be released, as well as the first EP and studio album in conjunction to each other.

Justin Bieber's had such strategy when he first released "My World EP", which gained good sales. About four months after that, along with two Billboard top 20 hits from the record, he finally released his first studio album, and he called it "My World 2.0". The first album became a big seller, and was his first Billboard number 1 album.

The EP and "2.0" has gone 3x platinum and 4x platinum respectively. The "My World" era isn't over in 2010, when "My World: The Collection" was released as a compilation album with tracks from the EP and "2.0". The compilation record was released particularly in Europe. But a week after its release, "My World Acoustic" was released with acoustic versions of songs from "My World EP" and "My World: 2.0".

That might not be enough, Justin Bieber also released the remix album in 2011, "Never Say Never: The Remixes", which contained with the songs from the EP, "2.0", and the theme song of "Karate Kid", "Never Say Never", which the remix album was named after. Still, the remix album is thus part of "My World" era.
