Why do some people succeed so much that it appears the word success is customised in their name and others fail likewise? Why will one person seem to go from one level of success to another while another experiences a seemingly unending failure? It’s amazing to see two people growing up; one flying up to the peak and the other dragging in the pit.

You will want to say life is not fair. No it's not, and yes I know, but one thing I want you to know is that you can consciously determine your own lot; although we can’t alter our fate (what happens to us) we sure can determine our destiny (how our life goes).

I supposed you see with me that we live in a pyramidal society, and I hope you equally agree with me that while the bottom is crowded, only a few make it to the top.
The part I consider pretty much interesting is the fact that some of those at the top today started at the bottom but rose up!

"Be The Best"

I was inspired by the story of a young man who was once opportune to meet a successful business man after a television interview. The young man asked; sir, how can I become successful in my own endeavours?
"Be Good" the successful business man simply replied.

The young man looked down and thought a while, then broke the silence as he said, ‘sir, I think I’m very good at what I do.’
On hearing this, the financial icon affirmed, ‘Get Better.’ For this the young man thanked the financial icon, turned and was ready to leave.
But after few steps away, he ran back to the successful business man, pulling his suit as he said, ‘sir, it seems I’m better than many people in my community who do similar things to what I do.’
With a little hesitation, the financial icon aptly responded with these three powerful words; “Be The Best!”

These three words "Be the Best" are potent enough to guarantee your success.

There is no big secret anywhere, those who genuinely succeed are men who never let ‘good enough’ alone. They are men who keep on improving and getting better. They never rest on their laurels until they are simply the best in their field.

The number of men who have the ability and capacity to succeed yet end up in defeat seems to be on an alarming rate today as many had lost the strong will (passion) to pursue what they really want in life.

What you do is not as important as how you do it.
Little wonder that Martins Luther King Jnr. Said;

"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well."

Always remember this,
that if you wish to be great at all, you must begin where you are and with who you are but never get satisfied with just getting by.

Oh a point worth adding is;

Never forget that the world you desire can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, and it can be yours!"

And how do you begin? ... Begin by Waking Up .
