Spring on the other side of the River

I have found it on the other side, but it seems the Spring cannot swim. This must be why it's still more wintry here on my side of the river ❄️

I wanted to take some photos of a beautiful reservoir in the mountains this morning, but when I arrived I saw that they have dried out this reservoir too - it seems all reservoir lakes have been dried during the winter.
There was not much water left and it had begun to rain anyway, so I decided to drive back towards home, but with open eyes for photo motifs because I had not made a plan B for this photo trip.

Driving along the river Drau I spotted a lot of fresh green and blooming trees on the other side of the river and luckily I found a small parking space directly at the river from where I could take a few snapshots of Springtime on the opposite river bank.

Well, that was all for today, the weekend is over and in a few hours starts a new busy week. I hope you have had a great weekend and hopefully the Spring will find a boat or a bridge to cross over the river to our side :)

All photos were taken with the Canon EOS R and the Sigma 100-400mm F5-6,3 DG OS HSM C lens.

Wow

Its just like a beautiful painting drawn by any great painter with all his complete imagination and then makes it alive.

The reflection of trees on water is so fascinating along with the blue mountains behind.

@johannpiber you always share amazing pictures of nature's beauty and i always wait for it, to feel from here:)

So now another masterpiece by that reknowned artist Hannes van Gogh, oh sorry, I got the surnames mixed up as I think it is Hannes van Austrian mountain goat 🤣

One of these days when you feel in your pocket for another Pizza to hand out you will find Spring in there my friend. She will arrive as a surprise at your side of the river.

It's rainy today - maybe Mother Nature is washing the Winter away that the Spring will have a nicer place to live with us for a while 😊

Well, even your quick shots are excellent methinks.
Rain is always the augmentor for spring, as it wakes the trees and the flowers.

Hi Jo,

the first photo was the view I had that made me stop to take a photo of it. The others were not far away and I had not to walk a lot.

We have mixed weather from sunshine to rain, but it isn't that cold anymore. I think Spring has already found a boat and now she's rowing to my side 😃

Quiet water on the river made for special reflection photography throwing green haze onto both the fresh trees and the waters below.

So now you know Spring cannot swim nor can motor bikes. Have a splendid day @johannpiber

Splash of colour becomes a tasty treat, Spring will crawl over the water soon, now the bridge has appeared for her.

Thanks for the treats over dinner time, now to gag the face and do a run to replenish the kitchen and stock up with !BEER once again!

WOW! The scenery of the lake and the mountain is very beautiful. The trees are wonderful and the reflection is really magnificent. Great capture!

I wish I can touch the cold weather via your photos, so it would probably release the hot weather here.... Anyway, watching your photos can make me feel better as well. Many thanks for sharing. ;)

Ah! Okay! My question is at what temperature you would love to get? We now have 36 Degree Celcius.... Can you imagine! It's terrible hot now. I think my body would probably be melt in a minute if I don't send some heat to you right now! Haha! ;D

Haha, that's too much 😅 We have cool 11 degrees at the moment, so half of your temperature would be fine, but I wouldn't mind a few degrees more 😀
