PSA: Bittrex HIVE and HBD Wallets are down for Maintenance
Currently both the HIVE and HBD Wallets are down for Maintenance at Bittrex
I started noticing that the price of HIVE at Bittrex was starting to diverge quite a bit from the prices at other exchanges.
IE, it was trading quite a bit higher on Bittrex than at most other exchanges.
Digging in a bit, sure enough, both the HIVE and HBD wallets are undergoing maintenance at Bittrex.
Not sure how long they have been down, but I just noticed for the first time within the past few hours...

Doing a quick search of the recent announcements from Bittrex and I couldn't find anything on the wallets being down...
Their twitter has yet to say anything.
Not knowing how long they would be down for I went ahead and asked support for an update...
Will let you know if/when I hear anything back.

Most likely nothing to worry about
Wallets undergo maintenance quite often in crypto land and the amount of downtime is usually short lived.
Especially with an active development team like we have here.
However, in the meantime @blocktrades may be able to take care of any of your exchange needs while you wait.

I have noticed the exchange down for about the same time frame, still not on now.

Yep, I agree. Would be nice if they would put out an update though.
i think it is common thing in bittrex but taking much time in maintenance it is not good for us because you know there are daily many traders are transact hive/hbd.
Keep in mind that is just the wallets deposits and withdrawals that are down. People can still trade in and out of HIVE/HBD on Bittrex.

back on now, the transactions I sent while the network maintenance was done arrived safely just now as well. No loss of funds. They recommend I make a new memo field tho
